Hux's POV

"Wow! And here's Sheryl Mendoza looking so gorgeous with her gold floral strapless gown.. This gown is made by one of the rookie designers from the LEM brand fashion team, Alicia Grace Lopez."

Paulit-ulit iyong umalingawngaw sa isipan ko.

Did I heard it right?

Nandito ako sa dressing room so I am not sure if tama ba ang dinig ko. Kung nandito man siya, ibig sabihin nakabalik na siya. Hindi ko mapigilang mapangiti. Natupad niya ang pangarap niya.

Pero nakaramdam ako ng pangamba. Paano ko siya iiwasan? Nangako ako na hindi na ako papasok sa buhay niya. Hindi na dapat pa muling mag-krus ang mga landas namin.

"Sir Hux, tara na po?" Tawag sa akin ng isa sa staff ng event.

Alanganin akong sumunod. Sana mali lang talaga ang narinig ko. I wish it wasn't her.

"And of course, let's welcome our special guest, Mr. Huxlee Valencia!"

I tried really hard to calm myself. I don't want to create a mess in this event.

Nung makaakyat ako sa stage ay pasimple kong inilibot ang mga mata ko sa crowd to check if nandito ba talaga siya pero bigo ako. Kahit anino niya ay hindi ko nakita or dahil na rin siguro sa poor eyesight na meron ako. I'm wearing graded contacts pero siguro hindi sapat.

"He will award the King and Queen of the night." The MC announced and handed the microphone to me.

After awarding the winners, I tried to join the crowd to check if makikita ko si Alice. Maybe, just maybe.. she wasn't able to make it here or she's probably hiding from me.

I went outside to get some fresh air. Nilabas ko ang vape ko at hinipak ito. I texted Noel to pick me up kasi gusto ko nang umalis. Hindi ako mapakali dito.

If Alice is here, I want her to enjoy this night. Ayokong masira ang gabi niya dahil sa akin.

When I got home, I was surprised by the amount of people tagging me on Instagram. Mukhang nag-upload na ang mga bata na kasali sa ball.

Then, I saw Sheryl's post. If I'm not mistaken, iyong gown niya ang gawa ni Alice, kung siya man talaga iyon.

'I'm really grateful to be a part of this annual teen celebrity ball. Dati pinapangarap ko lang po makasama dito ngayon nagkatotoo na. ^^

The caption from Sheryl's post. The very pretty Ms. Alice. Paulit ulit kong binasa iyon. Inislide ko ang photos niya at bumilis ang tibok ng puso ko nung makita ang picture nilang dalawa ni Alice.

Her smile is really pretty. Na-miss ko iyong makita.

I liked Sheryl's post as my way of saying that I'm really proud of Alice and what she've become. I also stalked her Instagram profile pero naka-private iyon.

Hinaplos ko ang puso ko.

Alice is the only woman who could make my heart beat in a way that no one else could.

Days passed, wala na ulit akong naging balita kay Alice and I don't have any intention to know her whereabouts. Basta alam ko lang na she's probably in Makati, kung saan yung office ng LEM fashion brand. I'm just really glad na natupad niya ang pangarap niya.
