The past few months had been filled with glee. Joy radiated around the Manor as family and friends visit Lord and Lady Orsini to celebrate the long-awaited arrival of their son. Laughter and tears of happiness blended in a harmonious symphony, echoing the journey of hope and anticipation. The air is filled with a sweet fragrance of flowers, symbolizing the bloom of new beginnings. Warm embraces and congratulations created an atmosphere of pure elation, marking the culmination of dreams and the start of a beautiful chapter in the family.

Aliona watched little Xavier, marvelled at the tiny creature as he dutifully sucked her bosom. Her unfaltering smile was contagious, concentrating solely on her son. She and Nickolai had agreed to tend to their son alone for the time being, allowing Vivian to assist when it got tiring or if one of them wasn't available which was usually Nickolai.

Considering the fact that he had taken a break from Upper House duties, delegating most tasks, that had not stop some important matters and decisions from finding their ways onto his desk.

Surrounded by fluffy and colourful toys in the nursery, Aliona studied her son, there was no doubt he was going to be a beautiful man when he grows up. Roaming her eyes from his scanty blonde hair, chubby cheeks and his crimson lips.

"I knew I was going to find you here" Nickolai leaned on the doorway to the Nursery, watching his wife as she studied their son.

Breaking into a smile, "where else would I be? Xavier needed me"

"And you need to get a shut eye" he closed the gap between them, putting his fingers under her chin to check her eyes, "you're tired. Let's rest for a while as soon as you're done feeding him." Feeling cheeky she spoke, "I also need you, you know."

"Are you jealous of your son right now?"

"Of course not" he took Xavier from her to rub his back till he belched and finally doze off. Nickolai enjoyed carrying him on his chest till he falls asleep.

He carefully lay him on his stomach in his crib, pulling his wife along, they tiptoed out of the room. If only they had stood some seconds later. Perhaps they might have seen the dark discolouration which swirled on little Xavier's back briefly before making it's way out to  hover above him as it had been doing ever since Xavier was birthed.

"Uhmmm, it's been a long day" Nickolai embraced his wife, he nuzzled her ear, Ali giggled as she tried to wiggle herself from her husband's arms, "it's ticklish "

"Why else did you think I love doing that, to tickle you of course. How come you started feeling ticklish in your ears after Xavier?"

"I have no idea, perhaps it's one of the strange things that comes along with birthing a child. We better sleep now before Xavier wakes up" that suddenly made him stop, "you're right" he quickly jumped on the the bed, pulling her with him.

"Any luck on your findings, Allen?"

Damien gazed at the tower of books around the house, inhaling the scent that comes with dusty and stale books. He had thought of using all sources to find the Eyes. He is a man who makes sure all grounds are covered which was why he had sought the intellectual, not leaving the search Solely for the supernatural being, he already have witches and demons searching endlessly for it. He had secretly slipped into the human community to seek the oldest sage to ask him find the Eyes.

"Not much" with his spectacle perched on the bridge of his nose, the old man peered at Damien over the edge of his spectacle, "there are various opinion on a possible location and don't forget as I warned, majority of the writers wanted to gain the attention of the ton, so they wrote something that interest them at that time"
