Xavier gently placed Seraphine on the bed, moving some strands off her to stare at the innocent sleepy face. He had allowed her confront the man herself to give her closure and get the answers she had been looking forward to about her father's death.

He already knew the bastard had nothing good to say, recalling the conversation he had with his vanguard who made it known that the reason they were unable to find Simeon was because he had himself cloaked.

Most times when people clocked themselves, they do it basically to run away from being punished, no one would remember them nor the crime they committed anymore. Even if the discussion about the crime comes up, no one would remember it except the person comes out to say it themselves. The good for nothing old man had evaded the wrath of the laws which governed the society after committing a grave offence.

Xavier would have gone for the easy way out of uncloaking the bastard by seeking Annaliese's help for a spell , but he wanted to do it the hard way, people like Simeon don't get to be pardoned, they need to be shown the errors of their way and if that means beating and torturing them till they confess their crime themselves so be it.

"Keep an eye on her till I return" he instructed the maid as he vacated the room, making his way back to where the man was.

"Play time is over" he announced, Xavier smiled wickedly at the man as he closed the door. Locking them in together.

"What did that bitch do to me?" Simeon looked at the vampire wide eye, he had been terrified when Patrick's daughter stared at him, his airways had been blocked and he was stiff as a log of wood, what sort of spell had she used to stare him down like that?

"I believe you wanted to thank me for intervening before she suck the little breath of life you had left out of you" rolling his sleeves upward, he marched round the length and breath of the room, circling him like a prey who would pounce any moment.

Simeon swallowed, he recognised the look on Xavier's face so well to know whatever plans the vampire had for him was not going to go well. He used to have that kind of look back then when he was ready to raise hell and misery upon people, seeing the same crazed look on another, especially a vampire of pure blood made him uneasy.

"I change my mind, don't thank me" grinning wickedly, "you might regret thanking me later because what I'm about to do to you, you would wish I had not saved you from her."

Before Simeon could process Xavier's words, he felt a shocking pain on his arm, yelling as the sound of his bone cracked, his arm dangled before his eyes as they twisted into a position he hadn't imagined could be twisted to.

Simeon backed away, crying as Xavier advanced towards him, his cocky attitude had long gone when Seraphine twisted his airways. The burning question he had thought he could surpress jumped out from him.

"How did you even find me? Who was that person who found me? What do you want from me?" Covering his mouth quickly as he backed away further into the wall, wishing it could crack wide enough for him to his.

"I know you've been dying to know how our mysterious hunter found you." Xavier saw him nodded his head, "the only reason you didn't let it show while Seraphine was here was because you didn't want her know how desperate you are. You didn't want her to see how terrified you were. Well, I for one could feel your desperation the moment I stepped into the building."

Glad that he was intimidated as he wanted, Xavier went back to seat, placing his foot on the table, he folded his arms behind his head, "I won't give you the satisfaction of knowing that. My turn, what crime did you commit that made you cloak yourself?"

Simeon swallowed again, groaning in pain as he cradled his arm, he saw as the vampire's fangs extended slowly, he could easily imagine the long sharp canines piercing through his neck, jerking as Xavier put his legs down from the table, he sputtered, "I killed some people" he rushed.
