Helios and Hecate stood together, hand in hand. Helios helped Hecate to see what was happening in the mortal realm, and Hecate cast a spell for the others to see it before their eyes without having to visit the children. Almost as if they were watching a movie.

"You can't be serious? Your daughter breaks a few bones in her hands, and she lets go of Cronus?" Athena asked, scoffing afterward.

"And what of your daughter? She tumbles down a cliff and doesn't jump down because she's afraid she'll break her ankle?" Hades asked though it was more of a confused statement. He couldn't believe what he had seen from the girl. "We've watched over them this whole time, truly Athena, your daughter is pathetic." Hades continued, laughing afterward. He was by no means trying to defend his niece, his son's lover. He only took notice because he had never seen anyone quite like Amara.

She came from the Goddess of War and yet didn't even fight in the battle.

Hades thought to himself, chuckling afterward. Athena stayed silent. She wouldn't speak of it. However, she felt embarrassed to have a daughter like her.

"Your Heath is quite impressive, Hades." Demeter commented.

"Oh? A compliment from you, dear sister? How refreshing and so unlike you. I thought you loathed me." Hades said.

"I do, but you're son is brilliant. He's nothing like you." Demeter replied. Hades only chuckled.

"Oh, tell me how you really feel sister." Hades snickered. Zeus entered the room. The atmosphere changed having him around. Athena sat up straight on her throne, as did Demeter. Hades stopped laughing. Hestia quickly made her way to her throne instead of watching closely at the children she had watched over for years. Poseidon however made no change in how he sat on his throne. He did however glare at Zeus.

"Where are the children?" Zeus asked, taking his place on his throne.

"They're headed across the Atlantic." Hestia said.

"Have they completed their duty?" Zeus asked. Athena and Demeter sat in silence, not wanting to answer, fearing it'd make him upset. Hades didn't answer because he was too busy watching the children. And Poseidon made no attempt to answer due to his not wanting to speak to Zeus. He was still furious with the decision Zeus had made without him.

"No, they have not." Hestia said calmly, her voice not faltering once.

"Then why are they headed here?" Zeus asked, his voice rising slightly.

"There has been a slight mishap. Nothing to worry about though." Hestia said.

"What kind of mishap?" Zeus asked, his eye twitching.

"Cronus is headed here, and the children are a little behind him is all." Hestia said.

"You say that as if you're not concerned." Zeus said, his voice booming through the throne room.

"I'm not. The children have it under control." Hestia said. Zeus turned away, stroking his short beard.

"And, how exactly do you know that they will succeed?" Zeus asked.

"Because, unlike the rest of you lot, I know them. Very well, I might add." Hestia said, her accent becoming thicker with each word. Hades scoffed across the room as if he hadn't said earlier in the day that he kept in touch with his son.

"I have trained them. Taught them to use their powers. You underestimate them, brother. I believe they have the potential to become full Gods and Goddesses." Hestia said.

"If they fail their task, it'll be eons before you are ever allowed back in Olympus again." Zeus said, before walking out of the room.

"You hold so much hope for these children, Hestia. I wonder how you do it." Athena said.

"It's because I love them like they're my own children." Hestia revealed.

"I'll be plain. When they were all babes', I felt no care for them. As did I'm sure most of you when you learned of their existence. But, these past 18 years I've spent with them, I've grown to love them. They have given me a taste of motherhood, though I am no mother to them. And I am forever grateful for their existence. I thank the Fates for blessing Olympus with these children." Hestia exclaimed.

"Hestia, I feel I must ask. What'd she say of me?" Poseidon asked, the question burned deep within his heart. He had to fully know where her feelings lie. Hestia turned to him. Sadness filled her beautiful, green eyes. She wasn't sure if she should speak of it or not, knowing it'd hurt him deeply.

"She thought the world of you. She'd always talk of your mouth, the way it'd speak words. She'd say it sounded elegant and that it always seemed to calm her. She thought your eyes were the ocean. And when they'd well up when you'd come to visit her after not doing so for so long, she'd think they were waves. She truly did love you, dear brother." Hestia paused, turning away, not being able to his expression when she said the words that were sure to break his heart.

"She claims to hate you now. She hates that you did nothing to save her mother." Hestia continued. Poseidon looked down to the floor beneath him, not wanting to make eye contact with any of the other Olympians. His heart ached. It bled.

"She used to be so bright. So filled to the brim with joy. Her laughter.. so contagious. I hardly hear it anymore. But dear brother, despite what I've told you today, I don't think she truly hates you. I think she just misses her mother. Camila was a truly beautiful human. I understand why she'd miss her so." Hestia said, quietly, remembering her friend that she held dear to her heart. He leaned his head back on his throne, repeating her name in his head, only not the one she goes by.

"What is she like now?" Poseidon asked, curiosity filling his head.

"She's quiet. Reserved. Never says more than a few words. Though she never lets anyone see it, she's kind. Generous. Always ready to help." Hestia said. Poseidon smiled after Hestia had finished.

Help

Poseidon thought. Though, he wouldn't share what he thought with others. Poseidon's mind was a fortress, nobody could enter it if they tried. Poseidon's thoughts were kept all to himself, all of the time. He looked up to see what the children were doing. They sat quietly on a plane, headed their way. Noelle had her head resting on Hades' son's shoulder. She was fast asleep. The cold face she seemed to have on around others, wasn't there. Her face was content as she slept. Poseidon took notice of Hades son resting his head atop her own. Poseidon's lip curled up in disgust. Hades laughed from across the room, causing Poseidon to turn his way. Poseidon growled when he realized Hades had been laughing at him.

"Oh, young love." Hades teased, watching Heath and Noelle.

"Dear brother, she's almost 18. It's common for a young mortal girl to be in love." Hestia said. Poseidon sat in silence. He didn't care. He thought of her too young. He still thought of her to be a young babe. His young babe. And he perhaps felt this way because he wasn't present much in her life. He felt protective over her. Especially considering she had feelings for the son of Hades.

"If she were here, she'd probably be pressured to marry someone at her young age." Demeter said. She had her daughter in mind when she spoke. The daughter she was unable to shield and keep pure. It still infuriated her to this day.

"I'd never allow it." Poseidon snarled, hating the thought of his young daughter being married off at such a young age.

"Worry not, Poseidon. Noelle isn't one to accept being married at such a young age." Hestia said, easing Poseidon's worries.

"I think I should get ahold of my son." Hades said, walking off to his private quarters. Poseidon sat up in his chair, straightening his chiton and saying,

"I think I shall do the same with my daughter"
