Zander screamed very loudly in a high-pitched, girly voice, making Cerberus back away, not wanting to approach the two anymore. Loud footsteps could be heard running down the stairs of the palace. The throne room became lit with a moss-green fire as the person walked along the long carpet.

"What is that noise?!" Heath shouted, sounding clearly irritated as he approached the two.

"Would you look at that, Zander? You scared Cerebrus away! Guess, I won't have to kill you for almost getting us turned into chew toys anymore." Hermes said, mumbling the last sentence.

"Zander?" Heath questioned as he focused his eyes to get a better look at Zander.

"Heath!" Zander shouted excitedly as he ran to hug Heath. Zander hugged Heath tightly, almost lifting him off of the ground. Heath hugged him, trying to get over the initial shock of seeing one of his closest friends for the first time in two years.

"Been a long time, hasn't it?" Heath asked, patting the back to Zander.

"Too long." Zander said, grinning from ear to ear. Once Zander pulled away, Heath gave him a smile before he kneeled down to the floor to check on Cerebrus, giving him many scratches behind the ears.

"Perhaps you deserve a honey cake for being such a good guard dog." Heath spoke. Cerberus immediately sat, wagging his tail, making Heath smile. Footsteps could be heard down the stairs again. The sound of heels clicking on the ground made all turn their attention to the staircase. Noelle reached the bottom of the staircase to see Zander standing there.

"Zander." Noelle said breathlessly and the two ran to each other. Zander's grin had grown wider at the sight of Noelle.

"Damn, are you okay?! You look pale!" Zander said, wrapping his arms around her. Though Noelle felt weak, she reached up and slapped his shoulder.

"What have I been telling you these past two years?" Noelle questioned. Zander sighed.

"If you look bad at any point, never ever tell you that because it's impolite." Zander said.

"That's right." Noelle said, slapping his shoulder once more.

"Gosh, I didn't even think about that. You haven't had anything to eat since you got here. That's why you're so pale." Heath said.

"Or perhaps because there is no sun here in the Underworld." Noelle muttered. Heath had heard her, but ignored her comment and left the room to get someone to fetch some food for her as well as a honey cake for Cerberus.

"So, how exactly are you stuck here?" Zander asked.

"Heath has his theories, but we aren't entirely sure." Noelle said.

"Haven't you discussed it?" Zander asked.

"Not since our fight." Noelle said, chewing on the skin on her lip. Zander heavily sighed.

"Man, again? When will the two of you stop getting into fights?" Zander asked, lightly slapping the shoulder of Noelle. Noelle looked up to him in wide eyes, in complete shock that he'd once again hit her. She shoved him back, making Hermes now come into sight.

"We meet again, louloudi mou." Hermes said, taking the hand of Noelle and kissing it lightly. Heath then walked into the throne room to see Hermes and Noelle together. He tossed Cerberus his treat before he awkwardly approached the two, standing inches away. Heath wasn't sure if Hermes knew who Noelle was or if the two had met before. Their interaction together confused him.

"Oh, Heath! You never told me you met her. She's the one I told you about the night of your coronation." Hermes said, completely oblivious to who she was.
