Amara yawned, turning over in her bed. She spread her arms and legs across her bed to stretch her muscles. When she reached her hand out, she smacked something hard. She opened her eyes to see Zander holding his now red cheek.
"Zander! What the heck?!" Amara screeched, jumping out of her bed.
"What?! You're the one who hit me!" Zander exclaimed.
"What are you doing in my bed!?" Amara questioned as she crossed her arms.
"I couldn't sleep with Donovan last night." Zander answered.
"And why couldn't you?" Amara asked, raising a brow at Zander.
"Because there was already someone in his bed." Zander said. Amara sighed, realizing the person Zander was talking about had to have been Ares.
"Hey, where did Noelle go last night after Zeus kicked her out?" Zander asked.
"She went to Atlantis with Poseidon. Poseidon wants to keep an eye on her after the attack last night." Amara said.
"How do you know this?" Zander asked as he sat up from the bed.
"He told me last night before he and Noelle le- Hey, what are you- put a shirt on!" Amara shouted at Zander.
"Why weren't you decent in my bed?!" Amara shouted.
"I can't sleep with a shirt on!" Zander whined. Amara jumped on the bed and began smacking him.
"Do you realize how this looks for a Goddess who is supposed to be pure?!" Amara said. Zander groaned 'Tyche' under his breath as he took the hits from Amara. Donovan had woken up the first time he heard Amara yell. He lay awake in his bed, unable to fall back asleep now.
"When are those two gonna get together?" Ares asked as he nuzzled up against Donovan's bare chest.
"It's not like that." Donovan said innocently. Ares laughed before wrapping his arm around Donovan's middle.
"Oh, please. It's so obvious." Ares said, shutting his eyes and falling back asleep. Noelle sat on her bedroom floor in front of her closet searching for something to wear to go out with Amphitrite and her sisters, but couldn't find anything. Noelle then heard a knock on her door.
"Come in!" Noelle shouted. Poseidon opened the door to see gowns laid out everywhere across her room.
"I take it you don't like your wardrobe." Poseidon sarcastically stated, walking further into the room.
"What!? No! I just... It's a new adjustment, I don't normally wear dresses and I wanted to find one that wasn't so form-fitted." Noelle said.
"I apologize. Amphitrite chose the dresses. As you saw from last night, she tends to wear tight and fitted clothing." Poseidon said.
"I can make do." Noelle said as she pulled out a teal blue dress. Poseidon took notice of the long slit in the dress and walked over to the closet to pull out a black wrap for her to wear over the dress.
"Wear that over it." Poseidon said, handing it to her. Noelle took the wrap and gave him a small smile as she set it down on the bed.
"I came to ask that you join me for the day instead of Amphitrite. I need to discuss with my brothers what will be done about the occurrence last night." Poseidon said.
"It'd be rude to tell her no and go with you instead." Noelle said.
"I've already asked her if she's alright with it. I told her you'd join her another day. Preferably a day where you weren't in any danger." Poseidon said. Noelle realized the seriousness in his voice. He was worried.
