Noelle's mother, Camila stood in front of Noelle with tears in her eyes. Noelle brought her hand up to her mother's cheek to see if she was real, and to her surprise, she was. Noelle cried tears of happiness as she wrapped her arms around her mother.
"I thought I'd never see you again!" Noelle cried out.
"I knew we would meet again, Noelle. My look at how much you've grown!" Camila said, backing up to get a better look at her daughter.
"Uh, I know this is your first time seeing your mom in... well, however long it's been, but we've gotta get a move on!" Hermes reminded them. Noelle turned with a sad expression.
"Mother Gaia, will this be the only time I get to see her?" Noelle asked.
"Unfortunately my dear, it will be. It'd be wrong for me to bring her back to life." Mother Gaia said with a sad smile. Noelle turned back to her mother, taking her hands in her.
"There's so much I have to say to you, mom." Noelle said, as was about to continue, but Camila stopped her.
"But, you can't. So, tell me the most important thing now." Camila said as she wiped away a tear that had fallen down Noelle's face. Noelle took a deep breath, composing herself for only a minute.
"I love you so much." Noelle finally said. Camila smiled and hugged her daughter once more.
"I love you too." Camila said as she pulled away and turned her daughter around for her to walk away. Noelle swallowed the lump in her throat and didn't look back. She walked back up the steps with Zander at her side. Mother Gaia reached for Zander's hand and held it in her own.
"Zander Bronton, do you vow to fully devote yourself to your duties? To give your heart, mind, body, and soul to it? And to give your life to your work each and every day for all of eternity?" Mother Gaia asked.
"Uh, yeah sure." Zander said. Hermes nudged him in the side, making Zander groan out in pain.
"What? I agreed to it!" Zander exclaimed, wondering why he had just been nudged.
"You're supposed to say 'I solemnly promise'." Hermes said.
"Oh! I solemnly promise." Zander said. Mother Gaia then leaned forward and kissed Zander on the forehead.
"You, Zander Bronton," One started.
"Are the God," The second one continued.
"Of Leadership." The third one finished. Zander looked around, waiting for something to happen.
"Didn't Heath get like... I don't know.. a visual representation of what his duty was?" Zander asked.
"You don't need a visual representation, it's in the name." Noelle explained.
"Oh.. you know what? I also kind of thought Zeus was like the God of Leadership." Zander said, unsure of why he just received this gift.
"Mother Gaia gave you a wonderful gift, don't question it!" Hermes exclaimed. Mother Gaia chuckled and gazed at Hermes with loving eyes.
"It's quite alright, Hermes. You are a God of Leadership in battle. You will lead your group to victory." Mother Gaia explained.
"Oh, nice." Zander said, feeling satisfied with what he had been given. Zander stepped down a step as Mother Gaia moved to Noelle.
"Phelia Noella, do you vow to fully devote yourself to your duties? To give your heart, mind, body, and soul to it? And to give your life to your work each and every day for all of eternity?" Mother Gaia asked.
"Now, now, hold up! You mean to tell me your name isn't just Noelle?!" Zander asked in complete disbelief.
"You're not meant to interrupt the ceremony, Zander!" Hermes exclaimed.
