They wasted no time getting back into the car, forgetting about taking a break. In all honesty, they just wanted to get there and get all of this over with. It was nearing Christmas time and most wanted to get home to their families. Noelle however didn't have anything in mind after the task was done. After her mother's death, Hestia made it clear to her that time for fun and time for truly being able to live her life wasn't an option. Noelle had to train. While Hestia would say the same thing for the others, she was never as severe due to the others having a family to spend time with. With Noelle having no family, friends, or anybody to care whether she got an education or not, she had all of the time in the world. But all of that time was spent training. She had no freedom growing up, and didn't expect much of it after saving the Olympians from Cronus considering Hestia had told her Zeus' plan after everything was done to have them perform their duties as the other Olympians did. She knew the only way out of this, and the only she'd ever get freedom was with her death. She didn't want to die. But, living wasn't much better either. Once they made it to the cold and icy mountain where Cronus resided, rotting away for over a millennia, they began to climb up steep mountains.
"Okay, I'm not cut out for this." Amara said, resting her hands on her knees, trying to catch her breath.
"That's no way to get air, Amara. Put your hands above your head." Noelle said, continuing onward.
"My feet.. they're killing me." Amara said in between breaths.
"Keep hands above your head." Noelle repeated, sounding annoyed.
"It's.. also cold." Amara continued complaining.
"And? What do you want me to do about it?" Noelle asked, turning to face her. The rest walking behind Noelle stopped. Amara didn't answer, she stood there with a sad expression on her face, as if a parent had just told off their child for doing something wrong. Noelle sighed, turning back around to walk.
"Zander, carry her on her back, please." Noelle asked Zander. Zander gave no answer. He walked over to Amara in three strides and hoisted her onto his back. She was worried that he'd find it difficult to carry her. But, Zander had no problem whatsoever, considering strength was one of his abilities.
"Why can't you do something about the weather, Noelle? You control water." Amara asked, still out of breath.
"Yes, water, not snow." Noelle said monotone.
"Snow is water." Amara argues. Noelle sighed.
You're the daughter of a wise goddess, how are you not smarter?
Noelle thought to herself. Heath caught up with her and gave her a look. A look telling her to be nicer.
Get out of my head.
Noelle thought. Heath quirked a brow at her.
Make me.
Heath responded. Noelle stopped to groan, bumping into Heath a little as he passed by her.
"If it is not in it's liquid state, I cannot control it." Noelle clarifies.
"Hmph!" Amara pouts.
"You want something to be done about it? Ask the son of Demeter back there!" Noelle shouted so Donovan, who was behind all of the rest, could hear her. Noelle had hoped that by bringing Donovan into the conversation, she could get herself out of it, considering she just wanted to talk as less as possible on this trip.
"I can't. She's sad because Persephone is with Hades this time of year." Donovan said.
"How come?" Heath wondered.
