Before Heath could respond to Noelle, she pulled the trident out from behind her back and threw it at full force, piercing through Heath's abdomen. Heath was pinned to the concrete wall with the trident being stuck most of the way inside of him and the prongs being stuck in the wall. Heath coughed blood out of his mouth as he made attempts to pull the trident out. He winced with each pull, making him eventually stop. Noelle slowly approached him, a smile plastered on her face.
"Noelle, how did you wake up? Who woke you?" Heath asked. Noelle only shook her head and smiled as she brought her hand up to tilt his chin towards her.
"I woke myself." Noelle said. Heath frowned at her, knowing it wasn't possible. She then reached forward, taking the end of the trident and twisting it around. Heath tried to suppress his painful cries as Noelle tortured him. After a moment, he passed out from the pain she inflicted. Noelle felt proud of herself as her eyes trailed down to the floor to find the pool of blood. The bathroom door opened, soon revealing Thanatos. Noelle turned back, pointing at her work.
"Very well, darling." Thanatos said as he approached her, taking her hand in his own.
"That is only one gaping wound, though. You'll have to do better with the others." Thanatos said as he cupped one side of her cheek. Noelle immediately nodded, bringing a smile to his face and pleasing him as the two then exited the bedroom. The two heard the footsteps running in their direction. Thanatos turned and pushed her ahead of him in another direction.
"Hades, I understand your concern, but I think you're making a mistake. You're the only one who heard a yell, brother." Poseidon said as he followed Hades down the hallway. Hades stopped and turned to face his brother.
"I don't think you understand my concern. He is my child and I heard him! He sounds as if he is in danger!" Hades shouted.
"You're not the only father here, Hades. I completely understand." Poseidon reiterated. Hades shook his head.
"No, Poseidon! You don't! You're the most intact with your emotions and talk a whole lot about how you care about your child and yet you couldn't even say goodbye to her!" Hades exclaimed, making Poseidon glower at Hades,
"That's not fair. You've never lost a child before, Hades. Neither have I. And neither has a single God or Goddess in Olympus. You wouldn't know what to do if you were in that position and you wouldn't know how to say goodbye." Poseidon said as he allowed a tear to drip down his cheek. Hades stood taken aback. He knew Poseidon was one of his more emotional siblings, but he had only seen Poseidon shed a tear twice in his life. Now, and the time when Noelle died in front of him two years prior. Hades was about to speak when the sound of a cry caught his attention. Poseidon frowned at him before himself and Hades took off down the hall, soon finding the bedroom of Noelle and Heath pinned to the wall beside the door. Heath cried out, kicking his feet around as Hades placed his hand on the end of the trident.
"Noelle." Heath breathed out. Poseidon frowned once more before turning to see that Noelle was no longer in her bed.
"She's awake?" Poseidon questioned as he turned back. Heath only nodded in response. Hades then slowly pulled the trident out, making Heath cry out once more before it fully exited his body. Hades dropped the trident on the floor and rested his wrists underneath the arms of Heath to hold him upright.
"You've lost a lot of blood, my boy. You're weak." Hades examined. Heath sighed heavily.
"I'll heal, but water will heal me quicker." Heath said. Poseidon held his hand out to do so, but Heath had beat him to it. The sound of one of the pipes breaking and running along the floor, filled the room. Heath kicked his foot out and let the water run up his body, slowly but surely giving him strength. Poseidon was about to leave to send his guards to search for his daughter when Heath stopped him by resting a hand on his shoulder.
