After walking for what felt like forever, the group finally reached Atlantis. Without their enhanced stamina, they weren't as fast as they usually were. Heath however had been walking normally, the group assuming he was just filled with adrenaline and wanted to reach the woman he loves. The group wondered how all of this would play out. They were confident in their abilities due to having beaten Cronus before without them. But, this time was different. Solely because they felt they had something to lose. Well, someone. That someone being Noelle. Donovan was slowly growing more and more tired. He managed to heal himself a few times on the way, but he knew without his immunity it was only a matter of time until he fell into a deep, eternal sleep. The group all knew this. Zander wondered how it was possible. He thought he knew how it all worked. he thought Mother Gaia granted them immunity, and it worked simply. He didn't understand having the mentality of being immortal was just as important. Amara was worried Donovan wouldn't be able to help them make it through the fight. And Heath was worried he'd be much too exhausted to revive his friends. Donovan had enough of hearing their thoughts, some of those being about him and worrying him. He stopped in his tracks on his way up the stairs to Poseidon's palace. Heath, who was helping him walk, came to a stop as well. Cerberus, who had been brought along for the journey to help, came to a stop beside Heath. He brushed his head up against his thigh of Heath, making him reach down and pat one of his heads. Zander and Amara heard fewer footsteps than before and turned around. Donovan sighed before looking up at the group.

"I know we're all scared and we don't know what's going to happen today." Donovan said. Zander bit his tongue and looked down at the steps.

"It's different, you know? I didn't realize all of those years ago when we fought Cronus how serious this all is. How dangerous it is. Losing Noelle that first time showed it to me. But, when we fought Aphrodite and her followers, it didn't feel like this either. Half of us had immunity. And Noelle and I eventually got it." Zander said. "And now we're without immunity and we could lose Noelle again." Zander continued. Amara shook her head.

"Heath can bring her back. Hell, Heath could bring us all back. And so can Noelle too from their connection. None of this is going to be final, you guys." Amara replied. Heath's eyes wandered away, now unable to lay on the group. Amara frowned when she noticed this.

"What is it, Heath?" Amara asked. Heath shook his head and took a deep breath before turning back, his eyes finally meeting theirs.

"I wouldn't be able to bring Noelle back, guys. You get one do-over, or one more chance when you're resurrected. After that, if you die, your soul remains in the Underworld." Heath confessed.

"Then we need to make sure they don't get the chance to get rid of any of us. I may be a little incapable right now, but I swear to you guys that I will do everything I can to protect you. You guys are my family and I've got your backs." Donovan said. Amara sniffled, making the group turn to her.

"We've got you too." Amara said, making Zander wrap an arm around her shoulder as she continued to sniffle. Cerebrus jumped up on her legs, making her let out a laugh and reach down to pet him. Heath gave her a small smile.

"Okay, let's do this." Heath said. He went to walk with the group when he felt a pain in his chest, making him reach up and clutch at it. Donovan frowned and quickly turned to Heath.

"Heath? What's wrong?" Donovan asked. Heath turned to him to speak, but was only able to grunt out in pain. Heath then became light-headed and began to tip to the side. Donovan tried to react quickly, but couldn't due to his injury.

"Heath!" Amara screamed out as she joined him on the steps, taking his hand in her own. He lay gasping for air, his body shaking in fear of what was happening to him. Zander then knelt down by his head.
