Zander, having already had his lightning rod out, was the first to react. Zander swung the lightning rod like a baseball bat, striking Thanatos in the jaw and making him stumble back far enough for Zander to get in between the two of them. Amara wrapped an arm around Donovan, pulling him out of the way and over to some bushes surrounding the colosseum. Noelle and Heath quickly turned to each other.

Be careful.

Both thought, making them both break out into a smile before heading towards Thanatos to help Zander out. Noelle tossed her trident over to Heath as she knelt on the ground. Zander stumbled after taking a hit, making it Heath's turn to attack. He swung the Trident, colliding with Thanatos's head. Heath brought water in from the palace, deciding it not be best to summon water from the sea and risk creating an earthquake. He was certain if Poseidon ever found out he disrupted his waters and the creatures of his sea again, he'd never make it to his good side. And he desperately needed to. He blasted Thanatos with water, making him go flying backward. Cerberus joined Noelle at her side, staring between her and Thantos.

"Your turn, boy." Noelle said. Cerberus however didn't move, as if he was waiting for something. Noelle playfully rolled her eyes.

"I will have the servants get you two honey cakes once all of this is over." Noelle said, knowing how fond Cerberus was of his honey cakes, that he got rarely because Hades wasn't one for spoiling him. Noelle however couldn't help herself, loving the excitement radiating from him when he got a honey cake. Cerberus eyed her, making her sigh.

"Alright, three." Noelle said. Upon that, Cerberus transformed into his final form once more and tacked Thanatos to the ground. Thanatos screamed loudly as his flesh tore from his bones. He shoved Cerberus as hard as he could, making him go flying. Noelle panicked and made an attempt to run to try to catch him, but Donovan quickly formed a bed of roses for him to land on.

Thank you.

Noelle thought before turning to Thanatos, an angry expression across her face.

"I will destroy you for laying a hand on my dog." Noelle said lowly.

"Really? Your dog?" Thanatos inquired, laughing afterward. He then charged at her with his sword in hand. Meanwhile, Donovan panted heavily and groaned in pain as he held onto his wound. Amara kept looking down every few minutes to make sure he was okay. She wanted to help but figured Donovan needed someone at his side.

"Amara, go. I'll be fine." Donovan said. Amara wanted to fight him on it. But, once she saw Noelle flying through the air, she knew she wouldn't. She quickly kissed the side of his head before bringing a dagger out from one of the leather garters on her thigh and charged at Thanatos. Donovan groaned out as pulled up his shirt to examine his cut, finding black liquid seeping out. Donovan knew he didn't bleed back blood, and the only other person who did was Thanatos.

"Fuck." Donovan muttered as a wave of tiredness washed over him, making him struggle to keep his eyes open. Amara slid on her knees, slicing Thanatos in the calf and bringing him to the ground. Amara quickly kicked him in the head, knocking him down to the ground completely. She went to straddle his waist and stab her knife through his skull, when the palm of his hand hit her knee forcefully, emitting a snap from the area. Amara cried out as she dropped to one of her knees. Thanatos then struck her with his backhand, sending her flying and hitting the ground hard. Zander sent lighting bolts his way, striking him multiple times, and sending him into one of the pillars. He then knelt down and helped Amara up, letting her lean into him.

"You good, babe?" Zander asked making Amara nod in response. Noelle, Heath, and a weary Donovan approached them.

"How do we want to end this?" Zander asked, reminding the group of a few years prior when they fought Cronus. They all playfully rolled their eyes at Zander who just smirked.

"I think we've got to hit them with everything we've got. Absolutely no holding back." Heath said with a serious expression. Amara frowned before realizing what he meant.

"Heath, if we do that.." Amara said, stopping herself. Amara knew to a certain extent, everybody held back when fighting. Though none of the Gods or Goddesses could die, using their abilities on their enemies to the fullest could result in temporary death for at least a millennia or so. Heath knew that. They all did.

"This keeps happening, you guys. Someone always wants to be the one in charge and we're always left to take care of it." Heath said. After a moment, Noelle nodded her head at his response.

"I won't do this for the rest of my life, you guys. I can't and I won't." Noelle said.

"I don't like it. I know we don't have any other choice. But, it won't be me delivering that final blow." Donovan said.

"It doesn't have to, Don." Heath said as he wrapped an arm around him to hold him up some. The sound of chains and metal clanking gained their attention, making them turn in the direction of the noise. Thanatos and Hypnos stood tall at one another's side. Amara sighed.

"Perhaps we should've kept an eye on them." Amara said.

"I'll still help take them down as best I can." Donovan said. He held his hand out, letting the vines of the ground form into a long scythe. He stepped forward when he felt a stabbing pain in his torso, making him cry out and fall to his knees. Heath joined him on the ground, resting his hands on his back.

"What was on your sword?" Heath asked, turning to Thanatos. Thanatos didn't answer, making Heath angry. "Answer me!" Heath yelled, which was rare for him. Hypnos laughed.

"What do you think it was?" Thanatos asked. Heath knew deep down, but shook his head.

"Blood of Thanatos. Poison. Especially to one of the Earth considering I am certain it is what brought Mother Gaia to her demise." Donovan answered, glaring up at Thanatos and Hypnos. Donovan then coughed up blood. Amara then remembered what Hermes had said. Thanatos's blood was the impenetrable weapon.

"He's dying slowly, but surely." Hypnos said.

"I need you to stay awake. We can heal you. Or if it comes down to it, I'll revive you. But, please, hold out for as long as you can." Heath said. Donovan nodded his head, handing his scythe to one of the members of the group behind him.

"You aren't a God or Goddess of Earth. None of you are. And you definitely aren't my offspring. But, you're my family. And that's good enough. Use it. It's similar to the scythe of Cronus." Donovan said, knowing the scythe would work for any of them so long as he kept his power surging through it. Amara patted him on the back. Taking the scythe in her hand. Heath then stood up. The four began to circle around Thanatos and Hypnos. Noelle was the first to react. She used her Trident and threw it at Thanatos, slicing through his thigh and bringing him to his knees. Amara let out a battle cry as she charged after Hypnos. Having been worked up from standing idly for so long, with the wave of Hypnos's hand, Amara stopped. Her eyes went wide as she involuntarily dropped the scythe, making each group member stop their circling.

"Hey, 'Mara?" Heath questioned. Amara's eyes watered as Hypnos's voice rang through her mind. She let out a breath as she slowly took another dagger out from her other garter. She let out a cry and shut her eyes, running the dagger across her throat before hitting the ground. Noelle screamed in shock. She tried to go to Amara when Hypnos swung around and wrapped his hand around her throat, bringing her up and off the ground. She placed her ankles on either side of his shoulder and twisted the wrist, making him groan. She then brought her weight down to the ground and pulled him in the opposite direction, making him flip over and land hard on his back. Zander took this opportunity to make his way over to Amara. He tore off his jacket and placed it over her neck to stop the bleeding. But, he knew deep down she had cut too deep to survive. Thanatos turned to Heath and took his sword, making an attempt to slice him. Heath quickly moved back to avoid the hit and landed a kick to his gut. The skin on Heath's hand melted away so he could pierce the skin of Thanatos and take control of his mind. When Heath looked away from his hand, Thanatos charged at him with Poseidon's Trident, stabbing him in the middle of the chest, and letting go of it almost immediately due to it burning his skin. Heath wheezed as Thanatos stepped away. The weight of the trident brought Heath down to the ground. Noelle screamed out when she turned and found Heath with the Trident in his chest. She made another attempt to get away when Hypnos gripped tightly onto her hair. He then landed a punch to her jaw and a sweep kick under the legs, knocking her to the ground. When Hypnos turned, Thanatos had his sword pointing at him. Thanatos then said,

"And now brother, you answer to me."
