"Okay so, listen up, because there's a lot that needs to be said. Currently, those apart of the Underworld, Hades, Persephone, Heath, and all of the rest are stuck. There is a spell around the Underworld making it impossible for them to leave. We know this because Zeus witnessed firsthand when one of the people tried to leave the Underworld, but the magic pushed them back and kept them from leaving." Hermes said.

"Wait, Zeus?" Zander questioned.

"Yes, he was one of the few that made it out." Hermes said. Zander ran his fingers through his hair, cursing quietly to himself.

"Is that an issue?" Hermes asked. Zander took a moment to compose himself before speaking.

"Zeus is my father. He kicked me out of Olympus and forbade me from coming back. I've been trying to avoid him since I returned." Zander said. Hermes stayed quiet. He hadn't known that the Demigod standing beside him was his brother. He now felt a need to protect him at all costs.

"If he tries anything, I'll get in his way." Hermes reassured Zander, though he feared Zeus immensely. Zander nodded, feeling a sense of relief.

"Anyways, the spell being used was not Earth magic. Hecate, who is the Goddess of Spells and such only uses Earth magic, and will only ever teach someone Earth spells. There are very few that Hecate is open to teaching this magic to, which tells us that one of our enemies is someone from the Underworld, considering Hecate would never share with those up in Olympus due to the fact that most frown upon those in the Underworld. Hecate uses Earth magic because everyone in Olympus looks up to Mother Gaia. Think of her as a literal mother. She looks after us, she cares for us. Now, Mother Gaia would never allow such a thing that was used to absorb us Gods. She would never allow such a creature to be made. Therefore, the monster made of mud that attacked everyone on the night of Heath's ceremony was not made of earthly magic. " Hermes said, taking a pause. "Now, as I said before, Mother Gaia is like our literal mothers. She'd never do anything to hurt us. So, when one finds a way to hurt us and cause any of us harm, she makes a loophole. Thus, making it possible for those who are Demigods to hurt our enemies." Hermes said.

"Yeah, Noelle and I, all of the others have now been made into Gods and Goddesses." Zander said.

"You're right, but it's not just your friend and you. Tell me, when is the last time you've been sick?" Hermes asked.

"I've never been sick before." Zander answered.

"That's right! You haven't! The reason why is that when Mother Gaia learned of your existence, she made it so that you five would be immune because she believed that you and the others could fight the battles that none of the other Gods are Goddesses could. She needed you all to stay alive. You five are immune to this spell, and Mother Gaia believes that you all can save Olympus once more." Hermes finished.

"Not that I don't believe you, but Noelle died defending Olympus two years ago. She's alive now, of course. But, why did Mother Gaia not do anything about her death?" Zander asked.

"Because she was never meant to. What happened to you friend was always meant to happen. At least that's what I believe." Hermes responded as the two continued walking. They finally reached Mount Ida, and Zander's nerves began to kick in. He was nervous to see his father for the first time in over two years, but, this time, he had more courage to stand up to him than he had before. Once Donovan spotted Zander, he ran up to him, making Zander drop Helios to the ground, and gave him a hug.

"It's good to see you, brother." Donovan said, patting Zander on the back.

"You too." Zander said. "Amara has been held captive." Zander continued. Quickly, Hermes turned to Zander.

"You never mentioned that." Hermes said worriedly.

"It's not just Amara. Poseidon and Athena have been taken too." Zander answered. Hermes made an attempt to fly away when Zeus's hand stopped him. Hermes turned back to see his father staring at him with eyes telling him to 'back down'.

"She's my niece." Hermes fought, trying to shake Zeus's hand off of his shoulder.

"She will be fine, Hermes." Zeus assured Hermes. Hermes slowly backed away and nodded his head. Zeus then spotted Zander and headed straight for him. Zeus stared him down with his dark blue eyes. Zander thought Zeus would be enraged by his reappearance, but was shocked to find that Zeus wasn't. In fact, he was glad. Zeus slowly lowered himself down to Zander's height and hugged him. Hermes watched from afar. Zeus had never been one to hug any of his children, and for him to do it now, confused Hermes. Zander didn't reciprocate the hug, he only stood there, thinking this was just something Zeus felt like he needed to do. Though Zeus has always perceived himself as someone evil to the five Demigods, he really wasn't. Sure, he wasn't the best father or the best individual, but he had a big heart. One that Zander didn't get to see in the past two years.

"You are my son, and I apologize for not treating you that way two years ago. I thank you for being here." Zeus said.

"I'm not here for you." Zander stated.

"I didn't believe you were." Zeus said as he backed away from Zander. Zeus then motioned for Hermes to approach the two of them, which he did.

"You two must go to the Underworld and see how close Hades' assistant is to breaking the spell. The rest of us will stay here." Zeus said. Hermes complied, tugging on the arm of Zander, but Zander didn't follow after him. He instead headed for Donovan.

"This all is scaring me man, and I don't get scared very easily." Zander said. Donovan chuckled.

"Yes, you do." Donovan said, making Zander laugh. Zander hugged Donovan once more.

"Just in case I don't make it back." Zander said before pulling away from Donovan and walking over to Hermes. Zander gave Donovan one last glance before Hermes dragged him by the arm and the two flew through the air.

"You could've waited for me to give you the go!" Zander shouted. Hermes only smirked as the two flew through the sky and to the entrance to the Underworld.

"So, how do you get to the Underworld through Earth?" Zander wondered as the two flew through the night sky.

"Ever heard of Death Valley?" Hermes asked.

"Huh, ironic." Zander said as the two landed on the ground. Zander looked around where the two stood.

"Is this a cave?" Zander asked.

"Yes, it's a cave." Hermes said walking forward and into the cave past the waterfall.

"Huh, Hestia always said the entrance was through a cave, didn't actually thi-" Zander said as he walked through the waterfall, but was shocked to see that the moment he walked through, he was already inside of the Underworld.

"What the-" Zander said, unable to finish his sentence once again.

"Think of it as a portal." Hermes said as he began walking down a hill. Zander quickly followed after once he got over his shock. The two made it to a secluded area with a cover over the top and boats lying underneath. Hermes looked in search of Charon.

"Huh, guess he isn't here." Hermes said as he grabbed ahold of Zander and flew him over to the front door of the palace. Hermes dropped Zander to the ground, making him hit his nose. Zander rubbed the bridge of his nose and looked up to the sky.

"You and I are going to have a talk once all of this is over, Tyche." Zander said, standing up from the ground. Hermes opened the door to Hades palace in the Underworld and the two walked in. Zander stays close to Hermes, feeling scared of the dark when he should've been scared of what lies in the dark. The two walked the long hallway into the throne room where very few lights were lit. Zander peered behind Hermes' shoulder every now and then to see where Hermes was leading them. Zander eventually shrieked when he heard a door being shut not too far away from them. Hermes stopped and turned back to glare at Zander for making the noise. After a moment, the two heard snarls just feet in front of them. They both turned their heads to see Cerebrus, the three-headed guard dog growling at them. Hermes turned to Zander with an annoyed look and said,

"Yeah, we're never getting out of here."
