Medusa threw Amara down onto the hard ground, bruising Amara's cheek. Amara reached up to rub the pained spot on her cheek. In an instant, the pain was gone and her skin returned to normal.

"Oh, don't act like that. It didn't hurt that badly. Besides, the pain went away just as quickly as it came." Medusa snarled, tearing Amara's hand away from her cheek. Athena crawled on her knees towards her daughter and pulled her closer to her. Amara looked around and watched people fall from the sky, joining the rest of the Olympians in this land she was unfamiliar with.

"Where exactly are we?" Amara asked.

"Tartarus." Poseidon answered, appearing from behind Amara.

"Tartarus?! You mean to tell me we are in the same place Heath banished Cronus to?" Amara inquired. Poseidon only nodded.

"So, does that mean we've been banished here too?" Amara asked.

"I suppose we have been." Athena answered.

"But, only one with a connection to the Underworld can do so. Who banished us?" Amara asked.

"I did." Melinoe appeared with a smirk across her face.

"You've finally reached peak madness, haven't you niece?" Poseidon spat. "Tell me, what possessed you to join the rest of the lot and attempt to overthrow my brothers and me?" Poseidon continued.

"My father never paid me much attention. Which, I was fine with until the human came along. Heath was given a place by my father's side. It should've been my place. But, no. He chose to give it to his son whom he's known all but twenty years while he's known me for thousands." Melinoe said.

"So what? This is jealousy? How human of you." Poseidon said, insulting Melinoe. Melinoe approached Poseidon and gripped ahold of his jaw, making him look upright at her.

"I am not the only child whose father has driven them to what you call madness, Poseidon. Tell me, when was the last time you heard from Polyphemus? Perhaps since Odyssey blinded his one good eye and you left him to rot on an island far away from his family because he couldn't resume his duties any longer?" Melinoe questioned Poseidon, before walking away. Amara turned to Poseidon with an angry expression across her face.

"What's with it with you Gods and Goddesses being shitty parents?!" Amara exclaimed.

"We were made to rule, Amara. Not be parents." Poseidon answered, pushing Melinoe's hand away from his face.

"Well then, perhaps you all should've kept it in your pants!" Amara said angrily. Poseidon only glared at her. He wouldn't harm her, not just because she was a dear friend of his daughter, but because he had grown fond of her. Though, he'd never reveal it.

"Amara." A quiet voice called out. Amara turned to see Hestia just a few feet away from her. Amara stood up to approach her but was pushed down by Medusa. Hestia motioned for her to crawl over to her, which she did.

"Whenever we stand, they get the idea that we'll do something." Hestia said. Amara ignored what she said and wrapped her arms around her.

"I was so scared. We weren't sure where you went!" Amara said as she rested her head on Hestia's shoulder. Once she pulled away, Hestia caressed her cheek lovingly.

"Whenever those creatures made of mud absorb anyone, they land here. It was a spell cast by Melinoe to keep us here. It's her way of banishing us here. We cannot leave." Hestia said.

"And we also can't fight them. No God nor Goddess can. We have to leave it up to Noelle and Zander." Amara said.

"Where are they now?" Hestia asked. Amara looked down at the ground.
