Once Hermes flew Zander and Polyphemus up to the surface, he went back down into the ocean to fly Noelle and Ares up as well. Once they were all on the surface, Zander noticed he wasn't wet. He then looked up at Noelle. Noelle already knew what Zander was thinking.
"Water does whatever I wish for it to." Noelle responded, thinking of her father and how he told Zander the same thing. She felt instant sadness thinking of her father. She hadn't seen him in some time. Zander rubbed his hands together, letting the electricity flow through his body. He then struck Polyphemus once and only held it for a few seconds. Polyphemus fell to the ground in a sitting position. He then looked around him, wondering how he had gotten where he did. Noelle knelt down beside him, knowing he was back to normal.
"She did it again, didn't she? She made me turn into somebody I'm not." Polyphemus said, bringing his webbed hands up to cover his face, not wanting anybody to look at him. Noelle took hold of his hands and gently took them away from his face.
"The others won't touch me." Polyphemus said, barely audible. Only Noelle could hear it. And when she did, she leaned forward and hugged Polyphemus. It took him a moment to register what she had been doing, but once he did, he lightly patted her on the back.
"She won't do it again. I give you my word." Noelle said as she took his hands in hers once more and helped him off of the ground.
"We should really go check and see if the others are where we think they may be." Hermes said.
"You can't take us all at the same time, Hermes." Noelle reminded him. Hermes then looked to the sky.
"My wings are not my only means of transportation." Hermes said with a grin, as a large white and gold chariot flew through the sky, landing on the ground beside them.
"Now, I normally fly with Apollo, my dearest brother, but since he isn't here, would anybody like to join me?" Hermes asked.
"Nice to know I'm not as loved as our other brother." Ares muttered as he got in the back of the chariot.
"Wait, we're all three brothers?" Zander asked. Ares then turned to Zander in disbelief.
"He's our brother too?!" Ares asked as Hermes sat in his spot, taking hold of the reins.
"Half brothers. None of you have the same mother." Noelle said, sitting beside Hermes and taking hold of the reins as well. Noelle then realized what she had just said. "Damn, Zeus is an unfaithful husband." Noelle said as Zander, Ares, and Polyphemus joined them in the chariot.
"Thank you for the help, Phelia." Hermes said, turning to Noelle with a smug smile. Noelle then glared at him.
"Funny, cause I said your name twice." Hermes pointed out.
"Hilarious, I'm crying." Noelle said sarcastically. Hermes then pulled on the reins, commanding the horses to go. In an instant, the chariot flew to the sky and began to soar through the clouds. Zander felt sick and clasped his hand over his mouth to keep himself from throwing up in the chariot. He eventually couldn't take it anymore and hung his head over the chariot and allowed vomit to exit his mouth. Ares sat there disgusted, but pat on Zander's back to help him a little.
"Hang in there, brother." Ares said, turning away so he couldn't have to listen to Zander's retching.
"I thought we couldn't get sick." Noelle mumbled, thinking she couldn't be heard. Hermes then leaned into her side.
"It usually happens for individuals who ride in our chariots for the first time. We're Gods, but it is our body's natural reaction. The only ones who can stomach this kind of thing are those who often ride them." Hermes answered. Noelle hoped she would be one who could stomach this despite never riding in one before. In only a few short minutes, the group made it to Nova Scotia. They landed in the snow just below the mountain where Cronus was left all those years ago. Noelle recognized it by the veranda at the top.
