Cupid stared at the notebook on her lap.

She was sitting on the grass, her legs crossed. Cupid held a pen in her hand, unmoving, not sure what to write. "What does Bunny like?" she asked, turning to look at the blonde haired boy, lying beside her.

Alistair opened his eyes and looked up at the shapes in the clouds.

He stayed silent for a while.

"Bunny likes... flowers, animals, helping people, chess, Wonderland..." a soft smile appeared on Alistair's face. His face turned to look up at Cupid's. "And me," he added. "She also likes me."

A soft breeze passed.

Cupid rolled her eyes, the wind blowing in her hair slightly. She began writing away on her notebook, noting down all the things that Alistair said, except for the last part. She put her pen on her chin, thinking of how to incorporate these things into Bunny's party. "So, maybe we'll make this party Wonderland themed, with lots of flowers, and cute animals? I wonder if that will work out."

Alistair made a contemplating sound,

"You know what else Bunny likes? Simple things," he said.

Cupid looked at him. "Continue."

"Bunny finds joy in the simple things in life. She loves seeing people smile, she loves the first sip of water after she wakes up, she loves closing her eyes as the wind blows..." Alistair closed his eyes and inhaled the chill breeze as it passed them. Cupid looked down at her pen. She smiled, her heart warming. Will someone ever love her the way Alistair loved Bunny? A part of Cupid envied them, and the love they shared. She longed to find and enjoy a love that is true, a love that is kind, and caring.

Cupid sighed.

"That's really sweet actually."

Alistair chuckled.

He opened his eyes again. "My point is, I think we should centre this party not on specific themes," he smiled. "But on something that would make her feel happy, and peaceful. Maybe just a party in the forest? With fairy lights. You get what I'm going for. Bunny would really appreciate that, I think."

Cupid hummed.

"That's a great idea."

"Obviously."

Cupid smiled.

"You're completely head over heels in love with her, Alistair Wonderland."

Alistair laughed. Cupid noticed a blush on his cheeks, a slight tint, as he laughed. She smiled at that. Alistair sat up and shrugged. "Man, I think so," he said. Cupid nudged him gently, her smile widening. "You both are truly lucky to have each other."

He grinned at her sentence. "Why are you acting as if there's only the two of us in Ever After? We have you too." Cupid shook her head. "It's different, and you know it," she said softly. Alistair's expression turned gentle. "You'll find someone who will love you more than there are stars in the night sky, I promise you that," he tilted his head. "And anybody who is loved by you is extremely lucky."

Cupid found herself completely silent.

Do you lie, Alistair?

Cupid stared into Alistair's ocean eyes.

She swore that she could see life dancing in them.

Alistair touched Cupid with his elbow. "So don't sound so miserable!"

"I'm not," she crossed her arms. Alistair nodded his head mockingly. "Sure..."

"What's with the sappy words? Are you suddenly a poet now Alistair?"
