C.A Cupid soon found her first love.

Dexter Charming.

He was perfect in her eyes.

He wasn't like his brother, Daring Charming, no, he was even better. Most of the girls in Ever After High fawned over Daring Charming. He was their definition of perfection, he was their dream. Daring Charming has neat blonde hair, a fit body, and of course, a charming personality.

C.A Cupid wouldn't lie, he's not bad to look at.

But Dexter, he was different. He was brunette, nerdy, and overall, an awkward person. He wasn't perfect, but Cupid had a love for the imperfect. And he was perfect in her eyes.

Dexter Charming drew her in with his smart words, kind personality, and his humbleness. He was down to earth, and too considerate for his own good.

When Cupid first sat next to him in Chemythstery, she knew, that she had found her love.

Her heart was in good hands, she thought.

~♡~

Cupid woke up early today. Her first class was Chemythstery.

Chemythstery meant seeing Dexter. The class was hard, but she had Dexter as her partner. He made the class worth it, better than the other classes.

Cupid was in a good mood. She finished her shower, wore her best outfit, and styled her hair.

She then stood in front of the mirror.

Cupid smiled at her reflection. Great.

"Look who's up early,"

Cupid chuckled. She turned her head to her dorm mate.

"Look who's up late, Blondie."

Blondie Locks yawned. She was still in her bed. Her hair was slightly messy, and her sleeping mask is tangled in it.

Cupid patted her dress down. "How do I look?"

Blondie Locks was a critic. She was always honest, even when she didn't have to. That annoys people often, but Cupid is used to it by now.

"Ooh, you're a bit different today. But it's just right!"

Cupid grinned. "That's nice, thanks."

Blondie stood up from her bed and walked in Cupid's direction. She got really close to her. Blondie had a sly smile on her face. "C.A Cupid, are you dressing up for a particular someone today?"

There was a hint of playfulness in Blondie's tone.

Cupid's cheeks blushed slightly. "No, of course not! Who would I dress up for?"

Cupid would never tell her.

Blondie Lockes is a nice girl with a fun personality, but she digs her nose into every body's business. She also has her own show, the MirrorCast, where she uploads all sorts off videos. Reviews, educational videos, information, and most popular of all, Ever After High's drama and gossips.

Blondie thought for a second, then she gasped. "Don't tell me, Daring Charming?"

Cupid rolled her eyes and stepped away from Blondie. "Nope, definitely not."

"Why not? Everything about him is perfect!" Blondie sighed dreamily as she said those words.

Cupid picked up her books and took one last look in the mirror.

"Just not my type."

She walked out of the room.

Cupid looked around. Class starts in 45 minutes, she still have a lot of time. She would go back in, but she doesn't feel like sitting around while Blondie is getting ready. So, she decided to go to her favourite café, Hocus Latte.

The atmosphere of Hocus Latte was warm and comfortable. The café just opened, so there were barely anybody there.

Cupid ordered a latte, and she sat down, drinking her latte.

She was having a nice time on her own, until Duchess Swan entered the café, a panicked look on her face. She looked around frantically, until her eyes landed on Cupid.

"Thank goodness you're here! I have an emergency!"

Cupid stopped drinking her latte. She gave Duchess a half-hearted smile. "Sorry Duchess, I'm quite busy right now-"

Duchess Swan scoffed. "Busy what? Gulping down that horrible drink?"

Cupid opened her mouth to talk, but Duchess Swan cut her off again.

"Whatever, just help me! Ugh!"

C.A Cupid stopped smiling, an annoyed look took over. She put down her latte on the table. "Fine, what is it?"

~♡~

Cupid was running out of breath.

"Duchess, how much longer do we have to walk?"

Duchess Swan groaned.

"Stop complaining! We're here!"

They were at a lake. It was beautiful. Cupid's eyes widened. "Where are we?"

Duchess flipped her hair. "This is the lake where I hang out, I call it Duchess Swan's Lake."

Cupid shrugged. She looked around. "So, why did you bring me here? What's the emergency?" Duchess giggled. "I need you to take pictures of me right here."

A moment of silence passed between them.

"Wait, what?"

Duchess Swan crossed her arms. "What part did you not get? I need you to take pictures of me! It's for the cover of my autobiography."

C.A Cupid let out a dry laugh.

"The part where you said it's an emergency!" she said, her voice raised. "Duchess, you dragged me all the way here just to take pictures?! I have class soon!"

Duchess Swan uncrossed her arms and put it behind her back. "Well, the light looks best in the morning light so.."

Cupid put her palm on her forehead. "I can't believe you."

But Cupid can't just go back now, she had already walked this far. So she decided to take a few pictures for the annoying Duchess Swan.

After she finished taking the pictures, she realized class starts in 10 minutes.
