Cupid's whole body felt frozen as Luna the dragon started flying forwards.

She felt Alistair's laugh in her ears. "Relax, Cupid, everything's okay. See?"

Cupid let out a deep exhale, trying to calm her nerves down. She slowly nodded against his chest. She looked down at their hands. Cupid's were still clutching onto the reigns tightly, while Alistair's were holding it loosely, moving it. His fingers kept brushing against hers as they rocked in the sky. "Cupid, look!" Cupid looked up to her front. Her mouth opened in awe.

A dark sky full of glimmering stars greeted her eyes, and in the midst of it all, the moon hung there, shining all so brightly.

Cupid let out a breathless sigh. "Wow," she whispered. Her eyes gleamed with wonder. Alistair shook his head behind her. "This is truly, an unbelievable sight."

Cupid nodded, her eyes not leaving the scenery in front of her.

"It's beautiful," Cupid said.

Alistair hummed in agreement. A sigh escaped his lips. "I know," he answered. Cupid felt her cheeks starting to redden. He did this all, for her. She cleared her throat, "But really though, how did you manage to borrow one of the dragons?"

Alistair chuckled. "It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be," she wasn't facing him, but she could practically see his smug expression like it was right in front of her. Cupid smiled, rolling her eyes. "I simply walked up to Daring, telling him that I need a dragon, you know, because he has access to the dragons with him being a hero or whatever. Of course, he looked at me like I was crazy. But, convincing him was easy, I only needed to bribe him with an enchanted mirror from Wonderland."

Cupid stayed quiet. But she then burst into laughter, startling the dragon. She quickly closed her mouth shut, letting out small fractions of laughter. She shook her head, grinning, "All that for me, huh?" she teased. Alistair let out a scoff, "No, I borrowed Luna so I could go on an adventure," he said in a smug tone, slowly softening, "But of course, there's no one I'd rather go on an adventure with, other than you."

Cupid felt her grin turn into a soft smile.

"Really? How about Bunny? No adventures with her then?"

Alistair lifted his head quickly, his eyes widening. "What? That's not what I meant-"

Cupid turned her body slightly, her head moved to face him behind her. She snorted, "I was just kidding, idiot," cutting him off. Alistair glared at her, which quickly disappeared. He shrugged, looking into Cupid's eyes. "I go on adventures with Bunny too you know," he smiled, "She's just as fun as you are." Cupid waited for him to continue.

She raised her eyebrows, "But...?"

"But, both of you are different from each other. You're not Bunny, and Bunny's not you. I like both of you- hell, I love the both of you," he paused. Cupid stared at him as he spoke, finding herself unable to speak, only able to hear his words. "But, I love you in different ways."

Cupid's eyes drooped slightly. She looked down, forcing a smile onto her lips. "I know," she answered. She inhaled slowly, her eyes going back to the stars and the moon, "You know-"

Suddenly, her heart dropped to her stomach.

Luna bent down and started flying downwards.

Cupid found her scream stuck in her throat. Meanwhile, Alistair was cheering at the thrill of it all. They glided down the sky speedily. Cupid closed her eyes tightly, but Alistair kept poking her shoulder. "Look, look!" he yelled in her ear. Cupid slowly opened her eyes. They were still flying down fast, but Cupid let her shoulders relax a little as her attention was diverted. Her eyes met the whole Ever After. She could see everything. Ever After High, the cafes, the castles, all. Luna finally stopped soaring down, flying right above the view.

"Look," Alistair pointed his finger, Cupid' eyes followed it, "I think that's your room!" Cupid squinted her eyes, trying to see better. She let out a light laugh. "Is that Blondie?" Alistair laughed with her. Cupid's eyes caught a moving figure. "And is that Sparrow Hood!?" Cupid pointed out. Alistair looked around, trying to find the boy. When his eyes landed on him, he put a hand over his mouth, trying to contain his fits of laughter.

"No way," he sputtered out, "He looks ridiculous, what is he doing?" Cupid grinned, "I think he's making out with his pillow."

Alistair quickly brought his phone out from his satchel, opening his camera. He positioned his arms around Cupid, pointing his phone at Sparrow's opened window. He snapped a picture. Cupid's eyes widened. She turned her head, slapping Alistair's chest. "What are you doing!?" Alistair snorted, putting his phone back. He gave her an innocent look. "Nothing!" Cupid narrowed her eyes at him, "You could get arrested for that!" Alistair groaned, "Okay, but it's Sparrow Hood, who cares!?" Cupid wanted to continue telling him off, but she failed when the corners of her lips slowly quirked up. Alistair tilted his head, throwing her a guiltless smile.

And suddenly, Luna lurched forwards again, making Cupid fall backwards, her back hitting Alistair's chest. Cupid's hair flew everywhere, the speed making the wind hit them strongly. Alistair brushed Cupid's hair down with his fingers, then tucking them behind her ears. "I think your hair got in my mouth," he yelled out. Cupid's eyes crinkled, she leaned her head back on him as she laughed freely. She let out a joyful shout as Luna dropped once more. Butterflies erupted in her chest, not only because of this rollercoaster feeling, but also because of the beautiful boy right behind her.

She had never felt freer.

Cupid held her arms out to the side, the cold gust of wind making her shiver. She closed her eyes, basked in the blissful thrill. She focused on her hands, and the wind hitting them. Cupid took a deep breath.

Alistair's eyes widened.

Delicate strings of gold began to appear from Cupid's hands. It flowed together, forming intricate designs. Shimmering, golden strings painted the sky as they glided away, marking the night sky with their magic.

"Beautiful," he said breathlessly.

Cupid opened her eyes, looking at what she produced. She smiled. "This reminds me of my father," she said, a hint of sadness in her voice. Alistair extended his arm out, touching the golden strings as they flew by. It turned into wisps of gold as it brushed his fingertips.

"Luckily for me, every time I see this, it will remind me of you."

Cupid's smile brightened.
