Amycus deducted he had some shitty luck considering he was once again paired with Wilkes.

He felt range and betrayal consume him as he stared at Wilkes in the lounge of Malfoy Manor with tears in his eyes. He gave into the rage and he gave Wilkes a harsh shove.

"You told them! You fucking lied! I killed Dumbledore so you wouldn't out me and you still fucking did!" He yelled at Wilkes.

His father obviously hadn't taken the news well. He had the black eye and the bruises to prove it.

Wilkes brought a hand up to cup his cheek. Wilhelm was infuriatingly calm like always. It always made him feel small for some reason.

"Oh, Amycus. You should really learn to not be so naive and trusting all the time. I was always going to tell them. I just saw an opportunity in your offer to kill Dumbledore. I simply realized that I might as well make you of use in the war before I ratted you out," Wilkes informed him.

"But you didn't even rat me out for shit I did! You made it seem like I forced you into this when it's the other way round! You told them I raped you. You've destroyed my life, you have been destroying it for over a year and you wouldn't even admit to it! You acted like I forced myself onto you when meanwhile you were the twenty-one-year-old who got with a seventeen-year-old!"

"You are just lucky I didn't tell them about your little mudblood boyfriend," Wilkes sneered. "I would've loved to see him scream as they killed him."

"Shut up!" Amycus yelled as he attempted to give Wilkes another shove. Wilkes just caught his wrists and shoved him to the ground. Amycus felt fear consume him as Wilkes pulled out his wand and pointed it at him. "What the hell are you doing?!"

Wilkes smirked at him. "Full filing my orders from the dark lord himself. What did you think Voldemort just gave us orders to stand here as the battle happened?"

"The dark lord gave you orders to kill me?"

"I think that was a given, don't you think?"

"But why?" Amycus asked even though he knew the answer.

"You know why."

"I have no clue what you are talking about," he lied.

"Bullshit, I saw the look on your face just now. You know it's about the elder wand. You killed Dumbledore, the owner, which makes you the owner."

Amycus had known that. What the dark lord didn't know was that Regulus had disarmed him in the alley when they fought, making Regulus the owner of the elder wand. Him and Evan had a plan. Evan's job was to distract Regulus until the dark lord arrived which gave Evan the perfect opportunity to make sure Regulus was the one who dueled with Voldemort. Their plan made sense, Voldemort's didn't.

"I don't understand. Why would he have you kill me? You are just going to be the owner now," Amycus asked Wilhelm.

"He couldn't exactly be here right now and he couldn't have you out fighting right now risking the chance of getting killed by some order member," Wilkes explained. "My guess is he will kill me later. Before his duel with Regulus."
