- Third Person POV -

Splash!

Seungcheol ran up the trail, not minding his shoes that got wet with every puddle he stepped in. Not giving a care to how damp his entire body was under the pouring rain.

"Haa... Haa..." He panted running faster and faster.

"We've cleared this part, let's search the area below next." Wonwoo pointed at the map with an umbrella over his head—not that it was doing much work.

"We'll take the path going west to cover more ground." Minghao nodded.

"I hope we'll find them soon."

"Chan... Han..." Seungcheol panted catching up with the five who were in search of Chan and Jeonghan. "W-What happened?"

"Cheol!" Seokmin jumped glad that Seungcheol was finally here.

"He said they'll be gone for a bit, but they never came back. He also left his phone so there's no way to contact them." Junhui exclaimed as calmly as he could.

"He wanted to cheer up Chan, so they went for a stroll..." Seokmin gulped.

"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU LET THEM?!" Seokmin grabbed Seokmin's shoulders harshly and yelled at his face in anger. "They know nothing about this place! Do you have any idea how easy it is to get lost or get into an accident in a place like this?!"

"W-What? He said they wouldn't stray too far. We had no idea this would happen." Seokmin struggled in Seungcheol's grasp. "DON'T BLAME US!"

"Still, none of this would have happened if you didn't let them go!" Seungcheol continued yelling.

"Stop it, Cheol! Don't think I don't know what you're trying to do!" Seokmin yelled back pushing Seungcheol away. "You're saying all this because you're guilty! You think it's all your fault do you're looking for someone else to blame! FUCKING GROW UP, CHEOL!"

"It's nobody's fault! Not yours nor ours, okay? This childish coping mechanism of yours is not going to help with the situation at hand." Seokmin was angry. He's had enough.

"T-That's not—" Seungcheol looked hurt.

"Enough!" Minghao grabbed Seungcheol's collar and pushed him to the tree behind him.

"Ack!" Seungcheol hurt his head.

"He's right, we're waiting out time arguing instead of looking for them." Minghao spoke in the calmest way possible. "We get it. Your son is missing. Anyone would be distressed if they were in your situation but this attitude. It's not going to make the search faster. If you want to help, then we'll need you to calm down first, got it?"

"..." Seungcheol clenched his teeth turning his head away.

"Good." Minghao let go of Seungcheol and turned around walking away. "Now let's carry on with the search."

"Hmm... Wasn't Chan talking about a treasure or something?" Junhui pointed out as he saw Seungcheol calm down.

"Wait, didn't he see something on our way up?" The image flashed through Seungcheol's head. "Maybe they went back there?"

The rain poured heavily and the use of an umbrella to shelter them was useless. Nevertheless, even though they were wet they still held them over their head and walked tracing their steps down the trail they'd used to climb up.

"It was around here..." Seungcheol firmly claimed the second he recognized the area around him.

"Okay, start searching, and remember to be careful!" Wonwoo acted as the leader.

"Got it!" Jisoo and Seokmin exclaimed in unison as they split up in search.

Seungcheol gulped and turned around walking through the bushes and calling out their names. "Chan... Han... Please be okay."

Clink!

Clink!

Clink!

"Huh? That sound..." Seungcheol froze looking ahead of him at the familiar object. "That thing... From back then... After all these, years, it's still here."

He walked up to the chime taking hold of the dinosaur. "Is this what Chan saw?"

Seungcheol remembered the young him who came to this same tree almost 20 years ago.

"I can't wait until he sees this... It's gonna be so cool!"

"Cheol! We found something!" Wonwoo yelled coming out of the bushes behind him. "Over here!"

Seungcheol followed him.

"Careful, there's a steep drop." Wonwoo warned.

"W-What is it?" Seungcheol walked through the bushed looking down the cliff.

There lay Chan's yellow hat muddy and drenched.

"..." Seungcheol realized where they were heading. "N-No..."

"Here's another one..." Jeonghan shivered as he traced another arrow carved into a tree. "How many of these are there exactly, Cheol? Should we keep going?"

Jeonghan's feet throbbed in pain as he kept thinking doing his best to ignore the injury knowing there was nothing, he could do to heal it yet. "O-Ow..."

"Chan maybe we should rest for a bit." Jeonghan gulped looking down at Chan.

"Uncle, Chanie thinks we're here." Chan looked into the distance where he saw...
