- Third Person POV -

Soonyoung sat on his futon in Jeonghan's room drawing a tiger and puppy cake with a big smile for Mingyu. "Perfect!"

Jeonghan groaned hugging his pillow on his bed.

"Still can't get over the sudden realization that you're with a dude?" Soonyoung asked leaving his paper to lay down and prop his head up on his palm.

"It's not sudden..." Jeonghan hid his face.

"Don't worry. I'm sure Cheol had experience! Also, there's the internet!" Soonyoung gave Jeonghan a thumbs up he couldn't see.

"I told you it's not that... maybe a little but... It's just... I feel stupid. Its life I've been focusing on every little thing feeling this whole time that I failed to see the big picture. And it's your fault for reminding me."

"I didn't do anything!"

BUZZ!

Jeonghan's phone buzzed as he sat up to take hold of it. "Ack! He's calling! What do I do?!"

"Throw the phone away and don't talk to him ever again, problem solved."

"Huh?"

"No, you answer you nervous wreck! That's your boyfriend for crying out loud!"

Jeonghan picked up the call. "H-Hey, Cheol?"

"Hey, look out the window!" Cheol exclaimed from the other side.

"Huh?" Jeonghan got up and walked to the window as he pulled on his curtain looking down at Seungcheol who was standing there in the dark. "Oh1 Wait, I'll come down!"

"Nah, it's okay. It's late and it's cold out." Seungcheol smiled. "We can talk like this. I just wanted to see your face before the day ends."

"What? Don't tell me you just dropped by to flirt and watch me get flustered?" Jeonghan blushed.

"Maybe? Hehehe~" Seungcheol chuckled.

"Well, I'm glad you did. It's nice to see a smile on you. I'm assuming the appointment went well?"

"Yeah, I did get scolded at first but after that, she laid out the situation for me and all my options. Having someone look at the situation objectively helps a lot. I'm still in a tough spot but now it doesn't feel as dire as it seemed at first."

"That's good!"

"Yeah, I hope we can be with Chan on his fourth birthday. He's been looking forward to it."

"Right. I miss him already. I can't wait to have him back." Jeonghan smiled.

"Mhmm... I'll be a bit busy for a few more days but I was wondering if we could see each other on Friday?"

"We're neighbors Cheol. I think we'll inevitably see each other whether we like it or not."

"No, I'm asking you out on a date, Han." Seungcheol chuckled smiling. "We're never been on an official date y'know?"

"O-Oh? L-Like dinner? A movie?" Jeonghan's face turned red.

"Yeah, we'll think of something. It's no fun if we over-plan. What do you say?"

"O-Okay, yeah! A date it is them..."

"Great I can't wait." Seungcheol shifted his feet shuffling in his pocket. "Wait, one last thing! I have something to show you. Ah! Here it is!"

Jeonghan watched carefully.

Seungcheol pulled out a finger heart holding it high for Jeonghan to see. "I love you!"
