By the next morning news of the engagement between Lena Luthor and Kara Danvers had spread everywhere. Headlines everywhere said the same thing. 'CEO Lena Luthor engaged to newly appointed Cat Co CEO Kara Danvers! Story on page seven. "Love, we made the headlines." Kara stated. "Oh for fucks sake! How do they find things out so quickly?" Lena asked as they sat down for breakfast. "I don't know. But at least they got a good photo of us a the restaurant." Kara said pointing to the picture. "That they did. You look beautiful." Lena replied as she kissed her fiancé.

After breakfast they showered and got ready for their days at work. "This is gonna be a long day." Kara groaned as they got on the elevator. "I know darling. But..I'm coming to your office for lunch, so any special requests?" Lena asked as they got into the suv. "Whatever you feel like, but no kale." Kara replied with a smile. Lena rolled her eyes at her fiancé. "How does potstickers and some sweet and sour chicken sound?" Lena asked. "Sounds good to me. Are you ready for this?" Kara asked as they pulled up to Cat Co. "Of course. Let's give them a show shall we?" Lena asked smirking.

Kara got out of the vehicle first quickly followed by Lena. The cameras flashed around them as Kara pulled Lena in for a kiss. "Can we see the rings?" One reporter shouted. Kara and Lena obliged by showing off their engagement rings to the cameras. "I'll see you later darling! I love you!" Lena shouted. "I look forward to it love! I love you too! Have a good day!" Kara replied as Lena got into the suv. Kara walked into the building ignoring the rest of the reporters as she went.

The walk to her office and heard the whispers around her. "Get back to work!" Kara snapped as she walked int her office.
