Later that night everyone was up in their beds sleeping the off the rest of their hangovers. Well everyone except Kara. She was wide awake. She was watching Lena sleep peacefully, the CEO's body sprawled out across her own. Unbeknownst to Kara, Lena was waking up. Green eyes found blue having a silent conversation. "Why aren't you sleeping?" Lena whispered. "I can' seem to find sleep." Kara replied. "What's wrong love?" Lena asked. "Just thinking about how far we came. How everything is falling into place. I just can't believe it. I keep thinking that I'll wake up one day and realize it was just a dream and you'll be just my friend again." Kara admitted. Lena gently brushed away a stray tear from the blondes face before speaking. "I understand. I have those feelings too every now and then. But everyday I wake up to you in the same bed as me I remind myself that this isn't a dream. It's reality. We're really engaged, and we're really getting married." Lena replied. "I love you..." Kara whispered. "I love you too...now get some sleep my darling...you get really grumpy in the morning with a lack of sleep." Lena cooed. Kara rolled her eyes and leaned into kiss Lena's lips.
When the morning sun shown through the bedroom windows both women were soundly sleeping. Eliza had just come around to check on everyone only to see everyone still sleeping. Smiling to herself she headed back downstairs and poured herself a cup of coffee. A few minutes later Lena woke up to an empty bed. Sitting up she heard the toilet flushing and the sink running. 'Her and small bladder.' Lena thought to herself as the door opened up to see her fiancé standing there. "Good morning, did you I wake you?" Kara asked. "Yes...and no...the emptiness of the bed woke me." Lena replied. "Oh I'm sorry Lee." Kara replied as she sat on the bed again. "It's ok. I'm up now, and my bladder is screaming at me." Lena replied. "That's ok. I'll wait here for you so we can go downstairs together." Kara replied. Lena smiled at her before disappearing into the bathroom.
