Exactly twelve hours after the impromptu baby shower Lori Elizabeth (Zor-El) Luthor-Danvers was born. At seven pounds and eight ounces and twenty-two inches tall she was perfect. "Wow!" Kara whispered as she looked on from the side of the hospital bed. "She's as pretty as a picture." Lena cooed. "That she is. Shall we go get everyone?" Kara asked softly. "Yes." Lena replied. "I'll be right back." Kara whispered before she left the hospital room to get everyone from the waiting room. "

In the waiting room sat Eliza, Jess, Ruby, Alex, Sam, J'onn and Winn all impatiently for news of the newest addition to their unique family. "Aunt Kara!" Ruby exclaimed as she ran to hug the blonde. "She's here! Lori's here! You can all come meet her! Lee's ok, and so is Lori! She's absolutely perfect!" Kara said. "Well you heard her! Let's go meet my granddaughter!" Eliza exclaimed happily. Ruby held Kara's hand as they walked back to the hospital room.

Lena was now sitting up in the bed with Lori nuzzled against her chest. Her eyes averted to the  little bundle wrapped up in a pink blanket. She only looked up when she heard the door squeaking open revealing Kara and the rest of their family walking inside. "Hey guys!" Lena cooed as Ruby approached the bedside. "Aunt Lena!" Ruby exclaimed happily. "Hey Rubes...are you excited to meet your little cousin?" Lena asked. "Yes!" Ruby replied with a smile. "Here she is...Ruby...meet Lori." Lena whispered as she gently passed the sleeping baby to the teenager.

Ruby remained still as a statue not wanting to move and disturb the baby in her arms. "Hi Lori...I'm your cousin Ruby." Ruby whispered softly. "How are you feeling love?" Kara asked. "I'm alright, just a little tired." Lena replied softly. "You can rest if you like. I'll put Lori in her cot when everyone's finished holding her." Kara said reassuringly. "I'll be ok love. Ruby why don't you let Eliza hold her now ok." Lena said. "Ok..." Ruby replied glumly.

Eliza held Lori in here arms and sat down in one of the chairs in the small room and everyone crowded around her. "Hello little sweetheart. Welcome to the family." Eliza cooed. One by one everyone in the room had a turn holding the newborn before passing her back to Kara who put her back in the cot. She looked back to see Lena had fallen asleep now and everyone was talking quietly amongst themselves. "We're gonna head out now. Call us when you're able to go home, I'll come pick you up." Eliza said. "We will mom." Kara replied. When everyone finally left Kara curled up in the hospital bed with Lena gently holding her in her arms.
