Later that evening Kara was in the kitchen holding Lori in one arm while she stirred the pasta in the pot. "And now this is why you put salt in the boiling water for pasta. It keeps the pasta from sticking together." Kara explained to Lori who responded by blowing a raspberry. "You'll understand when you're older my love. I'll teach you to cook so one day you can woo someone with your cooking skills..it's how I won over your mommy in the end." Kara cooed. Lena was in their room changing into some comfortable clothing whens she heard Kara talking to their daughter.

She walked out to see Kara swaying back and forth with Lori against her chest as she cooked their dinner. It made her want more children. Of course how could anyone looking at this not have their ovaries cry out. She remained silent as Kara continued telling Lori how to do different things around the kitchen from what vegetables she had chopped up for their salad to what sauces she would be adding once the pasta was completed. "Isn't she a little young for a cooking lesson darling?" Lena asked as she walked into the kitchen. "Never! I think she's soaking it all in. Aren't you darling? Yes you are, you're gonna be a great chef one day." Kara cooed.

"Let me see her, I'll take her while you finish cooking." Lena replied. Kara rolled her eyes and passed Lori over before returning to the stove. "Was momma teaching you how to cook?" Lena cooed. Again Lori blew raspberries in response to her mommy's question. Lena now looked up at Kara who was pulling bread sticks from the oven. "I was thinking..." Lena trailed off mid sentence. "Oh? That could be dangerous..." Kara replied teasingly. This time it was Lena who not only scoffed but rolled her eyes at her wife. "I was actually gonna say that I was thinking that...maybe...we could start trying for another baby.." Lena said. Kara put the wooden spoon she had in her hand and looked at her wife with wide eyes.

"Like...when? Now? Lori's only a few weeks old...I just thought you'd want to wait till she was out of diapers at least...but if you want to try again..by all means we can..." Kara replied stammering over her words. "Originally...I did want to wait...but it's just seeing you with Lori...cooking with her and everything...it made my ovaries scream...so...I was thinking we could try for another one..." Lena replied. "Uh...yea...ok...I'm ok with that. Just say when!" Kara replied with a smile.
