'Just Friends'

Two days later they were heading home. Kara and Lena sat on either side of the car seat in the backseat of Eliza's suv. "How are you both feeling?" Eliza asked. "Good, tired but good." Lena replied. "And how have your powers been coming?" Eliza asked.  "I think I've got them well under control thanks to Kara." Lena replied. "Do you think Lori will have them too?" Eliza asked. "It's a good probability. Since now Lena's full kryptonian now, so I'd say one day she'll have powers too." Kara said. "Oh I hope she doesn't get them till she's old enough to control them...I don't want a floating infant!" Lena gasped. "I'm sure she'll be older when they come in. Probably around ten or so...maybe later." Kara replied.

Once they arrived home Kara took the car seat while Eliza grabbed their bags and carried them inside, this allowed Lena to walk freely as she's still recovering from giving birth. Inside the penthouse Kara sat the car seat down before removing a sleeping Lori from it. "I'll bring her to the nursery." Kara said. "Ok, I'll drop your bags off in your room while you Lena relax." Eliza said. Lena didn't bother arguing she just went to the sofa and lay down on it.

A few minutes later Kara returned and joined Lena on the sofa. Lena repositioned so that her head was on Kara's lap now. "She asleep?" Lena whispered. "Yes she's sleeping still. You should take a nap love. I'll probably have one with you. Would you like to go to our room?" Kara asked. "Yea...that sounds lovely....cary me?" Lena asked. "Of course my love." Kara said as she stood up and picked Lena up in her arms and carried her to their bedroom. When they got there Eliza was leaving after unpacking their things. "I'm gonna go prepare some dinner, you two sleep as long as you like, I'll come wake you when it's close to dinner time." Eliza said. "Thank you Eliza." Lena said as Kara and she lay down in the bed still in sweatpants and shirts.
