Maya:
Can we go back to sleep now I asked Abby. I not tired mama she said. How about you snuggle with mama then, but close these little eyes I suggested.

Ok mama, she said snuggling herself real close to me and doing exactly what I suggested. After a few minutes of snuggling, I felt Abby completely relaxed and little snores come from her mouth.

Everything ok Jake mumbled half asleep. Yeah, go back to sleep baby I whispered. Ok, he mumbled passing back out.

I laid there for a while, eventually dozing back off to sleep myself. Thankfully the next time I woke up, it was actually light outside.

And I could hear little miss chatting away. After taking a few minutes to wake up, I rolled myself over to see Jake holding a book ready to read with Abby.

Hey, good morning mama Jake said to me. Good morning, what time is it I yawned tired. It's 8:40, this little lady woke me up didn't you Jake said, tickling Abby's belly.

Yeah Abby said in a fit of giggles. How are we feeling little miss I asked her. Better mama Abby said. Say dada already checked my temperature and it's gone down Jake said.

Really I asked. She's at 99 without any Tylenol  Jake said. Thats good, hopefully little miss is in the mend then I said. Of course the second I said that, she sneezed.

Oh bless you baby I said grabbing a tissue and wiping her nose, then grabbing another so she can blow it. Unfortunately we are still snotty Jake said when she was done.

I kinda expected that I said. Me too, but miss thing seems to be back to her normal self for the most part so I'll take it Jake said.

Me too, I said kissing little misses cheeks. Mama she said giggling. Happy girl Jake said chuckling. Yeah I said chuckling.

Mama Abby said tapping my arm. Yes baby I asked her. I gotta go potty she said. I bet you do, let's go then I said getting myself up out of bed carefully and then Jake passed her over to me.

I walked into the bathroom with Abby on my hip, and shut the door just enough to give Abby a little privacy.

I helped Abby get her pj pants down and her pull up then sat her up onto the toilet so she could do her business.
