Today was the first day of filming for my big brother's season of The Bachelor. I don't know why I was so nervous for him, but I was. I just got back to his place from work and wanted to check on the rest of the family to see how they were feeling about everything. All of us lived in Los Angeles after Lewis convinced us to move here after he fell in love with the place. He has a home in the UK where he does the majority of his work, and he also has a home in LA which takes us a long time to get to. He's asked us to move in with him numerous times, but we always thought about what that meant for the future. We all lead different lives and someday we'll all have families, and we don't want to intrude on him. Although when my brother is single, he's barely home, it just felt weird living with all my siblings, especially when our parents raised us to be independent. As soon as I walked through the door I was greeted by Nicola.
Nicola: " Did you see them?"
Samantha: " See what?"
Nicola: " All the women that are going to be on Lewis' season."
Samantha: " They're out already?"
Nicola: " Yes all 32 of them just came out. They didn't want him to see them so they waited until after he went in to film to release them."
(She said as I nodded in understanding. Once again, I became even more nervous for him. Lewis and I grew up together so he's my best friend. He's the first born then I came along then Nicola came, and Nicolas came shortly after. We were all extremely close but Lewis and I were the closest despite being 8 years apart.)
Samantha: " I can't wait to see them"
Nicola: " I just told Mom, Dad, and Nicolas so they're coming. Let's wait on them."
Samantha: " Okay."
Nicola: " Their bios are also out which is even more exciting."
Carmen: " We're here."
Nicola: " Okay. I'll project the photos on the TV screen."
Nicolas: " She's pretty."
( He said smiling as the first photo came up. She was gorgeous.)
Samantha: " Ariel is gorgeous."
