* Lewis POV *

Lauren and I were enjoying breakfast in bed while finishing the last episode of *Love is Blind*. The show was entertaining and helped distract us from how important today was. The past few days with her had been amazing, reminding me why I chose her in the first place. My family always said someone unexpected would come along and steal my heart, and that's exactly what happened with Lauren. I couldn't believe we got engaged after knowing each other for only two months. It felt crazy, but I wouldn't change a thing. The show made some exceptions for us, including letting me keep Lauren's engagement ring. Usually, the show takes the ring until the finale night, but I could keep it for her until then. As I thought about getting back to reality, I knew we wanted to make the most of our last day together. After breakfast, we decided to burn off some calories. Being intimate with Lauren was always fun. I never felt the need to take extra precautions because I trusted her completely, and I knew she felt the same way about me. Although, we weren't ready for kids yet, it was comforting to know I didn't have to worry about using condoms with her. Our trust made the experience even more special because she was the woman I planned to marry. Reflecting on everything, I felt grateful to have Lauren in my life. Our whirlwind relationship—from getting engaged so quickly to navigating the show—had been a wild ride, but our bond only grew stronger. As we prepared to return to our daily lives, I felt confident that our love would continue to thrive, no matter what challenges we faced. After our fun in bed, we decided to enjoy another round in the shower for old times' sake. After drying off and getting dressed, we had about an hour before we had to leave, so we settled into a chair together with Lauren comfortably sitting in my lap. We enjoyed a peaceful silence until I decided to speak.

Lewis: "I love you."

Lauren: " I love you too."

Lewis: "So, what do you plan to do when you get home?"

Lauren: " Rest, since I haven't gotten much sleep being here with you."

(She said playfully, her voice full of humor, and it made me laugh out loud. She was right: if we weren't wrapped up in bed, we were lounging on the couch, watching a Netflix series. I realized I hadn't watched this much TV in a long time, but it felt different now. Sharing these moments with someone special made them so much more fun.)

Lewis: " I'm sorry."

Lauren: " Mhmm."

Lewis: " I'm surprised you can even walk right now."

Lauren: " Me too. You're a nymphomaniac and I'm sick of it."
