Week 1 of the Bachelorette
* Omniscient POV *
Marc: " I'll have you sign the contract tomorrow then we'll go from there."
Lewis: " Thanks, man."
Marc: " You'll also need to fill out this questionnaire right now about the kind of woman that you like in case you have a type."
Lewis: " I don't."
Carmen: " Yes you do"
Lewis: " Really?"
Carmen: " Yes. Brunettes are usually your type."
(Her words made Marc chuckle as he handed over the questionnaire, signaling for him to sign it.)
Lewis: " I guess you're right. How soon will filming be?"
Marc: " Saturday, June 1st."
Carmen: " That's quick."
Lewis: " It is. And when does it air?"
Marc: " Filming Starts June 1st and ends late August. It airs in January, so whoever you choose, you'll have to keep your relationship private until the show ends."
Anthony: " I have no faith that he'll pick anyone."
(His father's said grabbing everyone's attention. One of the many things Lewis admired about his dad was his strong commitment to honesty.)
Lewis: " And if I don't it won't be the end of the world either."
Carmen: " You're right. I don't know how I feel about you breaking anyone's heart, though. I'd hate for someone to fall for you at the end and you eliminate her because you feel like you didn't get enough time with her."
Lewis: " I'm not heartless. Love is still a priority for me, so if I like someone at the end of all this, I'll do what's right. Don't worry so much."
Carmen: " I can't help but worry because you can be so stubborn, especially when it comes to both your professional and personal life."
(Her comment made him laugh, but deep down, he understood and shared her frustration. He knew how much his job took away from important family time and his personal life.)
Lewis: " I know, Mom. I'm planning to change that, so maybe becoming a bachelor will help. Maybe I'll find someone who'll be worth making that change for."
Carmen: " I hope so."
Marc: " Also, while we're here. I was given a season of The Bachelorette for us to watch to get a feel of what to expect."
Samantha: " Hopefully it's Charity's season. I love her."
Marc: " It is Charity's season."
