Lauren: " I think this will be your date, A"
Ariel: " I hope so. I can't wait."
(As she spoke, a gentle knock at the door signaled that the date card had arrived. Lauren got up to get it. Everyone's enthusiasm grew, as she called out loudly so everyone could gather around to see whose name was on the card.)
Lauren: " Ariel, are you ready to elevate our connection? Let's soar to new heights and enjoy a romantic adventure together. ~ Lewis"
Ariel: " I can't believe it's finally happening."
Lauren: " I'm so excited for you A"
Ariel: " Thanks Lauren. Now it's your turn to help me get dressed."
Lauren: " Yes. Let's go."
(As they laughed together, they went up the stairs to get ready. Instead of feeling jealous that someone she cared about was on a date with another person they were both interested in, Lauren felt only genuine happiness for her friend.)
Ariel: " So, how do you feel about this?"
Lauren: " That's pretty. Try this on and this one"
Ariel: " Okay"

Ariel looked great in both outfits, but Lauren's attention was drawn to the one she had suggested, acknowledging its style and confidence.
