Night 1 Cocktail Party and Rose Ceremony

* Omniscient POV *

Lewis: " Can I steal you for a moment?"

(Lewis asked Lauren Jones, who was chatting with some of the other ladies. Normally, the women would be asked to steal the bachelor for a minute, but this season was different—Lewis was making his own rules.)

Lauren Jones: "Sure"

(She said, offering him her hand to help her stand. They went outside and sat in a nearby chair covered with pillows.)

Lewis: "Hi again."

Lauren Jones: "Hi. How are you feeling now that you have your speech and can finally relax?"

Lewis: "I feel less nervous but the nerves are still there."

Lauren Jones: " I couldn't tell during your speech at all."

Lewis: " You're saying I did good?"

Lauren Jones: " You did. I couldn't tell that you were nervous at all."

Lewis: "Good. I wanted to have a moment with you because I wanted us to take a bite of your lobster roll."

(He said causing a huge smile to form on her face. That was nice of him, she thought.)

Lauren Jones: "That's sweet. Let's give it a try."

(She smiled as he split the lobster roll in half, giving Lauren one piece and taking the other. After his first bite, he let out a soft moan of enjoyment.)

Lewis: "This is amazing."

Lauren Jones: "Thank you. I made it myself."

Lewis: "Good to know. So do you love to cook?"

( He asked as they both took another bite of their roll. Lauren nodded as she finished swallowing.)

Lauren Jones: "I do. I'm Jamaican so cooking is a huge part of my culture. How about you?"

Lewis: "I love to cook also. My Dad is from the islands so cooking was a huge part of family time growing."

Lauren Jones: "That's good to know. Maybe you can cook for me sometime."

Lewis: "I love the confidence."

Lauren Jones: " Thank you."

( She said causing him to chuckle a little. He was quite intrigued by Lauren Jones.)

Lewis: "So what do you do?"

Lauren Jones: "I've been a Registered Nurse for the past 4 years now."

Lewis: "That's amazing. What made you want to become a nurse?"

Lauren Jones: " I've always been fascinated by the human body and the science of healthcare. Nursing allows me to combine my love for science with my desire to make a difference in people's lives."
