The next day (Thursday, December 26, 2024)

* Lewis POV *

Today marked my first day of promotions for my season of The Bachelor, and I couldn't have been more thrilled. My first stop was the Jennifer Hudson show. I really admire her interview style and the questions she asks, so I was eager to see what the day would bring. As I walked onto the set, I waved to the studio audience and shared a warm hug with Jennifer Hudson before we both took our seats. Once again, the audience was the real MVP.

Jennifer Hudson: "Calm down, ladies. I don't think he's single anymore. You should have shot your shot the last time he was here."

Lewis: "That's funny. Hey guys. I appreciate the love."

Jennifer Hudson: "And we appreciate you for stopping by once again."

Lewis: "It only makes sense. You guys are pretty awesome here.

Jennifer Hudson: "Why, thank you. So how are you feeling?"

Lewis: " I'm feeling good. The show starts soon, so I'm excited for everyone to see it!"

Jennifer Hudson: "And we're excited to watch it! What are you most excited for the fans to see this season?"

Lewis: " I'm excited for everyone to see the amazing ladies I had the pleasure of getting to know. Everyone behind the scenes really went all out."

Jennifer Hudson: " I love that. So, you're saying there's not much drama this season?"

Lewis: " There will definitely be drama, but I can proudly say that it won't be the main focus at all."

Jennifer Hudson: " I love to hear it because the drama can feel so forced at times."

Lewis: "Definitely."

Jennifer Hudson: "So, are you going to be kissing everyone on the first night? I know that's usually a topic of conversation every season."

(She asked causing the audience and I to laugh.)

Lewis: " I think I did pretty well for myself this season, so you'll have to tune in to see everything."

Jennifer Hudson: " Okay, I understand. I don't want to get you into any trouble in case you're seeing someone. Are you currently with someone?"

Lewis: "We'll have to wait and see."

Jennifer Hudson: "Ladies, I tried."

Lewis: "You really did."

Jennifer Hudson: " I noticed in the trailer that you're crying quite a bit this season. What can you share with us about those tears?"

Lewis: " I can say that this show has truly brought out some emotions in me. I've never been this open and vulnerable before, and that's what those tears represent. It's revealing a new side of me that everyone will be surprised to see, but I think they will appreciate it."

Jennifer Hudson: " Good. I thought those were tears shed because the person you wanted left. Then again, who would leave when you're the lead? Am I right, guys?"
