As I step out of the airport, the warmth of Los Angeles greets me. I feel a mix of excitement and nerves as I head to the hotel to prepare for my baby's 40th birthday party. The thought of seeing him soon fills me with happiness and a little anxiety, knowing tonight will be special for both of us.
Lauren: "Alright, time to get this party started."
(I muttered to myself as I adjusted my glasses and grabbed my bags. After spotting my car, I greeted the driver warmly, and we headed off to the hotel.)
Lauren: " Thank you so much for the ride. Keep the change."
Driver: " Wow, thank you, ma'am. Have a great day."

(I replied as I walked toward the hotel entrance. Upon reaching the lobby, the hotel manager greeted me warmly, ready to assist.)
Manager: " Welcome, Ms. Jones. It's nice to meet you."

Manager: " Let's go over the menu and arrangements for tonight."
(She said as we discussed all the foods I had requested for our 5 pm dinner. I had arranged for the chefs to prepare two of Lewis' favorite dishes, along with a birthday cake, cannoli, and two bottles of celebratory drinks—champagne and his favorite wine. After all, you only turn 40 once, and I wanted to make sure the day was as special for him as he always makes things for me.)
Lauren: " I love it."
Manager: " Perfect, everything is set up according to Mr. Hamilton's preferences. Here's the key to the room."
Lauren: " Great, thank you so much."
(I replied to the hotel manager as I made my way to our room, excitement building inside me. I couldn't help but picture how incredible everything would look once it was all set up.)
Lauren: " This is going to be amazing."
(I smiled as I walked into the room. The roses on the floor and the heart-shaped arrangement on the bed made my heart warm. I wanted to show Lewis how much he means to me and that he deserves the same love and care he always shows me.)
