I stood in the middle of my living room, taking a deep breath as I looked around at the lively scene. My friends and family filled the room, chatting excitedly while waiting for the second episode of Lewis's season of "The Bachelor" to start. Even though I had already lived through it, watching it again felt unreal and a bit nerve-wracking. Still, I couldn't help but smile at their excitement. It was great to see everyone so enthusiastic. I had to keep my engagement to Lewis a secret from most of them, but it was a relief that my family knew. Having my parents and siblings in on the secret made it easier, and I secretly enjoyed keeping my friends guessing.
Lauren: "Alright, everyone, it's about to start!"
(I called out, clapping my hands to get everyone's attention. With their plates ready, everyone made their way to the couch to join me. This was our second watch party of the season, and I was excited to have everyone here. My friends Lisa, Maya, and Jasmine, along with my brother and sister, gathered around the TV, while my parents settled into their usual spots on the couch, ready for the show. As the episode started, the room fell quiet for the opening scenes. When Madina was announced as getting the first one-on-one date, the group reacted immediately.)
Lisa: "Oh, look at Claire's face."
(My friend Lisa said laughing, pointing at the screen.)
Lauren: " Yikes."
Lisa: "She's so salty she didn't get the first one-on-one."
Maya: " I know right?"
(Maya added as I joined the fans in live tweeting the show. After posting my first tweet of the night, I brought my attention back to the show.)

Lisa: "But she got the first impression rose. She can't have everything!"
(She said, making me chuckle a bit as I tried to keep my reactions in check. It felt surreal watching the show with everyone, knowing how everything would unfold. As the show moved to Madina and Lewis's date at the winery, the group leaned in, interested in their conversation.)
Jasmine: "I love wine tastings."
