The evening of Lauren's 31st Birthday

* Omniscient POV *

The room is softly lit by the warm evening light coming through the partly closed curtains. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful. Lewis and Lauren are starting to wake up from their afternoon nap. Lewis stretches his arms wide and yawns deeply as he wakes up. He turns to his side and sees Lauren next to him, her eyes still sleepy. She rubs her eyes slowly, trying to shake off the drowsiness, and a gentle smile appears on her lips as she meets Lewis's gaze.

Lewis: " Hey, sleepyhead. Is my birthday girl ready for dinner?

Lauren: "I could eat. What's on the menu?

Lewis: "Stew peas and white rice. I'll go get it."

(Lewis quietly gets out of bed, leans over, and gives Lauren a gentle kiss on her forehead before heading downstairs to the kitchen. Lauren sits up slowly, fixing her hair and adjusting her clothes, feeling excited. From the bedroom, she hears Lewis opening containers and plating their dinner. The cozy room is softly lit, and a large TV is ready to play "Bridgerton," a show Lauren is eager to share with Lewis. Moments later, Lewis comes back, carefully holding two plates of steaming stew peas and white rice. He sets the plates on the coffee table and sits down beside Lauren, both of them excited as they get ready to enjoy the show together.)

Lauren: "Wow, this smells amazing."

Lewis: "Wait until you taste it. My friend from Jamaica made this. She's a chef."

Lauren: " You went all out today. I love it."

Lewis: " Anything for you."

(He said cleaning in close, looking into her eyes with warmth and affection. Gently, he gives her a quick kiss on the lips, expressing his love and excitement for the evening ahead. Smiling, they both focus on the steaming plates in front of them, eager to enjoy their delicious meal.)

Lauren: "Oh my God, Lewis, this is incredible!"

Lewis: "I'm glad you like it. I mentioned your birthday to her last week, and she volunteered to cook everything."

Lauren: " That's so thoughtful. Thank you."

Lewis: " You're welcome. I just wanted today to be special."

Lauren: " And it is."

Lewis: " Good."

Lauren: " Since, this is your first time having stew peas. How is it?"

Lewis: " It's pretty good. I'm usually not a fan of peas, but the rice and peas from earlier and the stew peas has surprised me."

Lauren: " I love that. You ready to get back into Bridgerton?"

(She asked as he nodded. Lauren pressed play on the remote, and the opening credits of *Bridgerton* began to roll. They ate their dinner while watching the show.)

Lewis: "So, this is the show you've been raving about?"

Lauren: "Yes! It's so good. You're going to love the characters and the drama."
