After some intimate time together, Lauren and I took a refreshing 45-minute nap before getting ready for my birthday dinner. She had decorated our hotel room beautifully, so I knew dinner would be amazing. This has been the best birthday ever, and I'm thrilled to celebrate my 40th with Lauren. It's been a while since I spent a birthday with a girlfriend, so sharing this milestone with someone I see a future with feels extra special. After our shower, we dried off and headed to the bedroom to get dressed. Lauren finished getting ready first to apply her makeup. I think she looks stunning without it, but I understand why she uses it. She told me during filming that she has PCOS, which has left her with acne scars, making her self-conscious. I love reminding her how beautiful she is. Once I was dressed, I went back to the bathroom to watch her do her makeup. I admired how skillfully she applied each product, knowing it helped her feel beautiful. As I watched her, I felt grateful for this amazing woman and the wonderful birthday we were sharing.
Lauren: " Looking good Mr. Hamilton. Look at us matching."

Lauren: " Thanks love. I'm almost done."
Lewis: " Take your time."
(I replied as she finished her makeup, and I admired her beauty. I decided to snap a few photos of her to keep while we're apart. I had taken some while she was sleeping before, so I was due for new ones. Half an hour later, she was all set.)
Lauren: " What do you think?"
Lewis: " You look stunning."
