With just two minutes before the first episode of Lewis's season started, everyone rushed to grab food and drinks, excited to settle in. As Lewis made his plate, he smiled at his friends. Having Jane and Stephanie there, after all their support during Charity's season, felt perfect. Their presence reminded him of the journey and friendships he had built.
Lewis: " I'm not sure why I suddenly feel so nervous."
(He said as the episode started. With only a few people knowing how his season would end, having his friends there made everything feel even more real. Most of the people around him had no idea who he picked in the end. Only his manager, publicist, assistant, and five close family members knew the secret. Not even his lawyer was in the loop, nor were Jane and Stephanie, who were seen as experts on The Bachelor. He thought it would be fun to see if they could guess his choice just from the first episode.)
Carmen: "Oh, that's a nice shot of you."
Jane: "Nice intro."
Lewis: " Thanks, guys."
(He said as he began live-tweeting. After posting a tweet to check if his followers were watching his season, he interacted with his fans by liking and retweeting their comments and posts, especially those showing pictures of their watch parties. He felt excited seeing cupcakes, cakes, and decorations themed around Lewis Hamilton. When the show continued and his introduction aired, he met Jesse Palmer for the first time. Their conversation on screen felt easy and natural, as if they had been friends for a long time.)
Carmen: " Jesse Palmer is such a handsome guy."
Samantha: " He is. He looks way better than the last host they had."
Nicola:" I agree."
Anthony: "And there's our first commercial break for anyone who needs a snack or bathroom break.".
(His dad commented as Nicolas and Jane returned to the table where all the food was spread out.)
Stephanie: " So far you're doing a great job, Lewis."
Lewis: " Thank you. I was really nervous, so it's great to hear that."
Carmen: " You can't tell you're nervous at all, but I guess we'll see when you meet the women."
Lewis: " Exactly. That's when all the nerves resurface."
Jesse Palmer (on screen): " Welcome back to an exciting season of The Bachelor. Lewis Hamilton is handsome and quite successful. Calling him a catch would be an understatement, and we've found some truly extraordinary women from across America who are excited to meet him.
