* Lewis POV *

Today was my first hometown date with Madina in Charlotte, North Carolina, and I was so excited. It was my first time in North Carolina, and I couldn't wait to see what Madina had planned. I'd always been curious about Charlotte with its lively vibe and tall buildings, and now I had the perfect person to show me around. As I left the hotel, I felt the excitement building. Walking through the busy streets, I took in everything around me. Our first stop was a beautiful park, a peaceful spot in the middle of the city. The greenery and fresh air relaxed me, setting the perfect mood for the day.

Madina: "Lewis! Over here!"

(She called me over, and I walked to where she was standing. Seeing Madina waiting for me made me feel really happy. She looked amazing. Her excitement was contagious, and just being near her lifted my mood. The way she moved with so much energy and happiness made me even more excited to spend the day together and explore Charlotte.)

Lewis: "Madina! It's so good to see you."

Madina: "You too! I hope you're ready for a fun day. We're going to start with a little stroll through Romare Bearden Park. It's one of my favorite spots in the city."

Lewis: "Sounds perfect. Lead the way!"

(We walked through the park holding hands, talking and laughing. I felt more excited, knowing this peaceful walk was just the beginning of a great day in Charlotte.)

Madina:  "This park is named after Romare Bearden, a famous artist from Charlotte. I love coming here to relax and people-watch."

Lewis: "It's beautiful. I can see why you like it."

Madina: "There's a great ice cream stand nearby. Want to grab some?"

Lewis: "Absolutely. Let's do it."

(I smiled as we walked up to the small ice cream stand in the corner of the park. Madina picked chocolate, and I got strawberries. With our cones, we sat on a bench nearby to talk. Our conversation, like always, was easy and full of laughter and smiles. Madina was really special, and I couldn't wait to meet the people who helped make her who she is today.)

Lewis: "This is delicious. What's on the agenda for today?"

Madina: "It really is. Next, I thought we could check out the NASCAR Hall of Fame. It's a big part of Charlotte's culture."
