Jesse Palmer: " Welcome back to the live Bachelor finale. I'm here with the man Bachelor Nation is calling the greatest bachelor of all time."
Lewis: " Oh, I didn't know that. I'm honored. Thank you, Bachelor Nation. No offense to Jesse."
Jesse Palmer: " No offense taken—you've been an incredible lead with an epic love story to match."
Lewis: "I'll share the title with you, Jesse, but thank you all for the love Bachelor Nation. It's truly appreciated."
Jesse Palmer: " I appreciate it. Let's talk about your proposal to Lauren. As I mentioned, it was the most romantic proposal ever."
Lewis: " Thank you."
Jesse Palmer: " This is the first time in Bachelor history that a lead and his winner have exchanged speeches like that."
Lewis: " I didn't know that."
Jesse Palmer: " Yes. I've watched your journey unfold in real time, and from the first night at the mansion, it was clear there was something beautiful between you and Lauren. Am I right?"
(He asked the audience, who responded with cheers and applause.)
Lewis: " That's great to hear. Thank you. I came into this very skeptical, not believing I would find someone as amazing as Lauren, but I'm so happy I did."
Jesse Palmer: " And we're so glad you did because your relationship with Lauren is what Bachelor Nation is calling the best thing to come out of reality TV."
Lewis: " I'd have to agree with Bachelor Nation on that one."
(I said, as the audience laughed. It was hard to disagree, since I feel that way every day, knowing this show brought me to Lauren.)
Jesse Palmer: " Bachelor Nation fell in love with Lauren the moment she stepped out of the limo. What do you think? Should we bring her out?"
(He asked as the audience's cheers grew louder. Hearing so much love for Lauren made me proud, knowing America had fallen for the woman I love.)
Lewis: " I agree with the audience."
Jesse Palmer: " I do too. Please welcome to the stage Lewis' fiancée, it has a good ring to it. Doesn't it?"
