Lewis: "Lauren, it's time!"
(Lewis called for me just as I finished the last step of my makeup routine—my eyelashes. I was in my dressing room while he watched the live finale. I told him to let me know when it was time for the proposal.)
Lauren: " I'm here. Did I miss it?"
Lewis: " You didn't. You look gorgeous by the way."
Lauren: "Thanks, babe."
(I replied, admiring his handsome face as he gently pulled me onto his lap.)
Lewis: " I love you."
Lauren: " I love you, more."
Lewis: "Shut up!"
(He replied, making me laugh. I knew he hated when I said that, but I couldn't resist. Now that it was proposal time, it felt right to watch it together.)
Lauren: " I love that dress so much."
Lewis: " I do too."
(He said, kissing me on the cheek. I still couldn't believe we'd finally be free after tonight. Now, I could be out in public with my man, and I felt so grateful. Our journey had been beautiful, and I couldn't wait to continue it in the real world.)
Lauren: " Madina looks stunning."
Lewis: " I clean up pretty well, too."
Lauren: "Always, Daddy."
Lewis: " Lauren, don't even get me started. We need to be out there soon."
Lauren: " I know. I'm going to chill."
(I said with a laugh as we turned back to the episode. I felt bad watching him have to break up with Madina.)
Madina (on screen): " I'm sorry also. I meant what I said. I'll always cherish our moments together."
Lewis (on screen): " I'll always cherish our times together also. You're an amazing person and I'm so grateful to have you met."
Madina (on screen): " Thank you for everything and I truly wish you and Lauren the best."
Lewis (on screen): " Thank you. Good luck with everything."
