Chapter 10

Lehar's POV

I was sleeping when I felt someone waking me up. I opened my eyes and looked at Pihu and her crying face in front of me. I got scared and I woke up, hugging her to myself

Me: Pihu, what happened sweetie ?

She hugged me and started crying 

Pihu: Bad dreams maa , make them go away 

Me: Okay, maa is there naa. I will make them go away. Come on, sleep beside me okay ?

Pihu nodded and slept beside me hugging me close. I ran my fingers through her hair and kissed her forehead

Me: Now, tell me Pihu. What made you scared ? What did you see in your dream ?

Pihu: That we both got a lot of distances between us. I hated it, we were fighting. I did not like it one bit.

Me: Calm down sweet heart. Look, Maa is right with you okay ? She will never go anywhere without you. Truth is that Maa cannot live without her Pihu. Even when you go to school right and I am at home alone ? I miss you. 

Pihu: You miss me ?

I nodded and she gave me a toothy smile. I kissed he cheeks and wiped her tears away with the end of my stole

Me: Pihu, we might fight, we might argue and we might even be on cold war because of the situation but remember this Maa loves you more than her own life okay ?

She looked at me deeply and hugged me, nestling her face into my neck sobbing softly.

Me: Sweet heart, please dont cry. Oh my baby.

I started rubbing my arm soothingly and after a few minutes I realized that my Pihu has fallen asleep. I held her close and slept off too after showering kisses on her face.

Next Day 

I was making the breakfast when Raghav walked into our home

Raghav: Good Morning Lehar 

Me: Good Morning, the breakfast will be served in a minute

He came in and sat down on the couch. He was wearing a blue shirt tucked into skin colored trousers. He looked very presentable or you could say handsome

Raghav: Lehar, thank you so much for allowing me to dine in here

Me: You know what, you can dine in here as long as you are our tenant if you want 

Raghav: Oh really ? Wow, thanks 

Me: Yes, I spoke to dad about this. You can have your 3 times meals here but the cost of it will be added to your rent. You pay about Rs 15000 now and for food its Rs 2500 so you would be paying 17500. If its okay just let me know, or else you would be needing to make your own arrangements for cooking. Oh, and on weekends I have party orders so there may or may not be food at home, so you gotta order from outside okay ?

Raghav: Oh 

Me: Yeah 

Raghav: Its okay, I thought about it. I would not be able to get a tasty home cooked meal as I get here and even if I make daily, I might feel bored by it so, I will eat here

Me: Cool

Pihu came out of the bedroom yawning and rubbing her eyes 

Me: Hi, sweetheart

Pihu did not speak but waved her hand at me still walking in semi sleepy state. She came and hugged me from beside wishing me good morning, for which I wished her back

Pihu: Maa, I am still sleepy 

Me: Its okay, you can sleep for more time if you want

Pihu: But, school ?

Me: Look at the time honey, you are anyways late. Might as well, take rest today. 

She looked at the time and gave me a pouty face

Pihu: Why didnt you wake me Maa, now I will have to write all my notes tomorrow and work extra hard

Me: Dont worry, you could not sleep well last night so, you can rest now. In the evening we will go to your friend's home and write down the notes. I will help you too.

Her face pulled into a smile and I kissed her on cheeks

Me: Go sleep, I will wake you up after 2 hours 

She nodded and went back to sleep on my bed. Dad came out and looked at the table with the pout.

Dad: Where is Pihu ?

Me: Sleeping, she could not sleep last night. Bad dreams, so I let her take a leave today.

Dad: Oh, is she okay ?

Me: Hopefully she will be fine soon

Dad: Okay, what about you ?

Me: I will stay home for today. I have packed the boxes, please take Lakshmi and deliver it to offices. I will message you the office addresses

He nodded 

Dad: Lehar, breakfast is tasty. Pihu will love it.

Me: Thank you 

Raghav: I need to leave to work. Thank you for the breakfast. 

What happened to him suddenly ?

Me: Dad, Pihu had really bad dreams last night. I feel like whatever that lady told her had impacted her and she is assuming that I will leave her

Dad: Poor kid, I will talk to Rishi and let him know what happened. I told them the truth so that they dont have any bias against you but I never know she will do that. I am sorry Lehar.

Me: I know Dad, its okay. I will stay home with her and then may be I will take her out too

Dad: Take her to that exhibition. She wanted to go there.

I nodded with a smile and then continued with my day while dad left for duty. Around 12 pm I saw that Raghav had returned home

Me: You came early. I was just about to send your box 

Raghav: Had migrane and did not have much to do today 

Me: Okay 

He saw that Pihu was jumping around excited

Raghav: What is with her excitement ?

Me: I am taking her to parade grounds for the exhibition. She wanted to go there for a while.

Raghav: Have fun Pihu. Tell me all about it okay ?

Pihu: Why dont you come Raghav ? You will have fun with us. Anyways you are free.

Me: Pihu, he has migrane 

Pihu's face fell and Raghav felt bad about it observing her sad face

Raghav: Pihu, you asked with so much love. Why dont you wait for 15 minutes, let me change and pop in the migrane tablets. Then I can come.

Once he said that Pihu started jumping with excitement

Raghav changed into his casuals and he looked much younger. His tatoo now much more visible. I slapped myself mentally to not think about this handsome guy who forced his way into our lives
