Lehar POV

The speaker was playing a soft melodious song and I slowly took my time getting ready for my big day. Today is the day when I would be Raghav's Lehar. I could not sleep the whole night with excitement, nervousness and anticipation of what ought to come.

Last night there was loud thunder followed by calm rain fall. I was so scared owing to the thunder but then when the rain came down, I was relieved it was a soft pour, just drenching the soil and then freash wet sand breeze. It was at that time that Raghav called me, that relaxed me completely.

I was wearing a royal blue, green and golden shaded silk saree which suited my skin complexion. Then I started wearing my mom's jewelry. I hoped and wished that wherever she was she would bless me and be happy for me.

The parlor artist did my hair and clipped the sweet smelling Jasmines in my hair. She kept my make up natural and then went off readying Pihu. I looked at my maroon designed hands and smiled when I spotted an 'R' hidden in the design. It would be fun to see if he would catch it.

Pihu came in wearing a cutest Indian lehanga. Her hair clipped with a small garland of flowers. I smiled looking at how happy she was with the look

Me: You look cute Pihu

Pihu: I know !! But mom you look like a bomb as a bride I tell you

Me: Where are you even learning those words ?

Pihu: Its all my own wisdom, dont be jealous of it

I fake glared at her and she raised her hands in surrender 

Me: Pihu ? You are happy with this right ?

Pihu: If I tell you I am not then will you leave him ?

Me: Pihu, I really love him. I saw that you were happy with all this ... if you have a problem then lets discuss please 

Pihu started giggling 

Pihu: I know you love him mom. I like him too for you. I am just worried .. 

Me: Worried ?

Pihu: I told my best friend that I will finally have a family which is complete and she casually joked how you might be more busy with new responsibilities ..

I hugged her to my chest and showered kisses on her

Me: You will always be my priority Pihu. You are very important to me. I love Raghav and I know I have to divide my time accordingly with all of you but I will do my best to be a mom, a mother and a wife okay ?

Pihu nodded and finally gave a relieved smile 

Me: If you have any concerns talk to me okay ? 

Pihu nodded and kissed my forehead hugging me

Pihu: I just felt like I ... I am happy for you mom, but I got scared 

Me: I understand, remember my promise

Pihu: I will and mom you know why I like Raghav ?

Me: Why?

Pihu: Because since the time he came I have seen a lot of emotions on your face other then just motherly affection. I saw you annoyed with him, I saw you arguing on that first day, that was funny, I saw you blushing ...
