Chapter 29

Lehar POV

Pihu was very excited today. Why not ? Although she loves school, she got to bunk and stay at home for the start of my wedding preparations. We woke up around 6 am and got ready, Pihu was excited to wear her semi new Indian traditional full length blouse and skirt with intricate embroidery while I wore a silk baby pink saree.

We were supposed to reach the temple for a quick Ganesh Pooja. I got ready quickly applying minimal make up owing to the fact that I am a bride now, otherwise I would never let anybody paint my face. I actually warned her not to go overboard and let my natural features show.The parlor artist did exactly that and braided my hair using 4 knots. 

Ouch !! Why is beauty so painful ?

I stepped out to the patio and Raghav was waiting outside. He was wearing a cotton white traditional kurta and matching pajama. He was looking yummy, I mean cute. His muscles were more prominent in this attire and I gulped. 

I had to focus on the rituals but this guy is a huge diversion. Raghav was looking at me with the same expression I looked at him. Thank god !! I wanted this reaction when I choose this saree. He slowly came towards me and took my cheeks in his palm.

Raghav: You look god damn gorgeous !!

Pihu: Raghav, language 

Raghav: Oops, sorry 

I kept my hands on his resting on my cheek and smiled

Me: You look damn hot 

I said it in whisper so that Pihu could not hear. Raghav blushed at my compliment and took a step back when Dad coughed because our maternal side relatives were there too and we were putting a show for them. 

Oops, I forgot about that when I checked him out like an eye candy. Get a grip Lehar !!

Raghav stepped back but took out a cover from his pocket. Those had a string of fresh jasmine flowers. I loves those. 

Me: These are beautiful, thank you 

Raghav: May I ?

I looked around, he did not care about the audience and the fact is I did not too. Anyways I was already wearing a black thread to get rid of evil eye. My father made me wear it, since our wedding got confirmed. Lakshmi too rotated some red chilli around my face to get rid of evil eye before I stepped out, yep I am consious about evil eye.

Me: You can 

He smiled and stepped towards me. He put the flowers where my braid started with the help of the pins which were already there. Slowly we sat in dad's cab while the rest came in another car with Raghav. 

I miss him already and the look he gave when we were leaving to seperate cars was so cute. Once we reached the temple my family let me walk with Raghav. He held my hand in his while we slowly walked up the stairs while Pihu and dad were racing.

Dad is a kid himself with Pihu 

Raghav: You look extra ordinary today. I cannot seem to take my eyes off you

Me: I am stealing glances because we have rituals to do and you are a diversion

He chuckled and started running his fingers in circles on my wrist while we walked together. While I stealed glances at him. We sat down for the Pooja and the priest gave us instructions to start it. We followed and obeyed everything because we do desire a happy life and once that was done, we organized lunch for homeless and orphanage.

Me: This was a good idea Raghav, to conduct it today 

Raghav: You had the idea first, this is a start of our lives and this way we get all their blessings

Me: It feels good to do this. The kids are excited, Pihu is having fun.

Raghav: Pihu was saying she will go to this orphanage and old age homes on weekends with her grand father. It is very noble right ?

Me: Her mom, she was like that. Very compassionate, noble ...

Raghav: You miss her ..

Me: I do 

Raghav: You speak to her every night ... what did she say about your fiancee ?

Me: She said, your fiancee is hot and she said watch out for stalkers who are armored by your fiancee's charm 

He chuckled and shook his head at my dramatic words. He slowly pulled me from the temple and took me towards the isolated seating area 

Me: Raghav, someone might see ...

He put a hand on my mouth and took me under a tree. There was a bench there, where we could sit down viewing the mountains. This temple is elevated and gives us a view.

Me: Its splendid !! The view

Raghav: I saw this when we came to make arrangements yesterday

Me: Cool 

He took out the disposable plates and handed me the plate 

Me: I can have it later Raghav, we need to see if everything is going okay

Raghav: Nope, you have not had anything since yesterday night. My collegues will take care of things. Dont worry.

I gave a tired smile and took the food. I was famished and the food is great, I gulped it down excited while Raghav looked at me with a smile

Raghav: You were hungry 

Me: I was, I did not realise because of all the things we had to do 

Once I was done Raghav, wiped the little morsel away from the side of my mouth and slowly ate that. I looked at him amused and he shrugged.

Raghav: A few more days before you become mine

Me: I am already your's from heart, mind and soul 

Raghav: So one last thing is pending then 

He said that and winked while I blushed
