{Colin's POV}

Aaliyah decided that her and Riley are gonna sleep in the other room, so I make my way there to say goodnight to Riley, and possibly talk to Aaliyah. I gently knock on the door before entering.

"Hey daddy." She says sitting up. Aaliyah laying right next to her.

"Hey pretty girl. I came to say goodnight." I hop in bed on the opposite side. "Did you have fun today?"

"Yeah. I like the beach."

"Cool. We have to go a lot then when I come back home." She smiles and nods. "Can I have some love before you go to bed. She wraps her tiny arms around my next and I give her a tight hug. "I love you." I say then kiss her forehead.

"I love you too."

"What about me?" Aaliyah says. She gives her a hug and a kiss.

"I love you."

"I love you too mommy."

"Get some rest sweetie." I say pulling the covers over her. She turns on her side, facing me, and I smile as I watch her eyes slowly close and she drifts somewhere off into dreamland. I push her hair back that's in her face and give her one more kiss on the forehead. "Come to my room."

"No."

"I don't want sex. I just wanna talk."

"Talking leads to sex with you."

"Aaliyah, just come on." I get up, walk to her side, hold out my hand, she takes it and we go to my room. I lead her out to the balcony.

"What?"

"I'm sorry."

"That's nothing out of the ordinary."

"Well what the hell you want me to say."

"Anything but sorry. Your sorries don't mean anything these days because you pull the same shit, or find something different to be mad about, as if you're my nigga."

"I am."

"No. You're not. If I'm gone be with a man, he's confident and knows what he wants. Not a little boy who's insecure, gets mad that I go out, and fuck around with other tricks, because I know you have bed doin so ever since you got here. I'm not stupid."

"You're right. I have been fuckin other women. I'm not gone lie to you. Since we bein honest, I think it's clear that I'm not down for being in a relationship."

"Then why lead me on when you know you're not ready. We don't have to be together to raise Riley."

"I want you though."

"You mean you want the sex I have to offer."

"No. I want YOU and everything else you have to offer."

"So, you want me...but don't want a relationship. How the hell does that work?"

"I don't know, but what I do know is that I love you. When we get down in the bedroom, it's not just sex for me. It's more than that. With other women, I just need a quick fuck to satisfy my cravings...with you, it's different. I wanna make sure that I'm pleasing you, just as much as you please me."

"If you love me so much then why not leave all these tricks alone and date me. We could have something special, and you know that. Instead you wanna try and have me, and all these other hoes. You get mad at me for no reason, leave me and Riley in the dust for a couple days to go sleep with another chick and come back."

"That's not what I do."

"That's EXACTLY what you do. I can read you like a fuckin book. But I can only blame myself because I decide to put up with the bullshit. Then you wanna treat me like I'm just some egg donor. Telling me you want me to give you another child. I can't just give you a baby. That's nine months of pure agony and pain, and right now, you aren't worth that."

"I said one day. Woman I'm gonna marry you. You're going to be my wife and we're gonna make lots of babies. You may not believe that now, but it's gonna happen."

"No. It's not. Because I'm not going to wait for you. It's not going to happen."

"You talkin like you got another man."

"No. I'm being a woman that's sensible, and smart. What the fuck I look like waiting on a lil boy to become a grown ass man. If another guy comes in my life, I'm not gonna turn him down because you're unsure if you want one woman or not."

"Alright, whatever. Goodnight. The fuck out my room."

"And there you go again. I don't think I can deal with this for another 3 days. I'll let Riley stay because she'll be sad if she has to leave only after a day. Just get me a plane ticket tomorrow, and I'll fly back to pick her up."

"I'll have you on a flight tomorrow morning."

"Thank you." She says and walks out. She'll come to her senses soon and realize that she does need me. It's only a matter of time.
