[A Couple Weeks Later]

{Aaliyah's POV}

Thanks to Riley, I got talked into going to the home game today. I really didn't want to go, but Riley wanted me to.

"Mommy come on! Are you almost ready?" She and Nate walk in my bedroom. Both dressed in their niners gear.

"Yeah. Hold on. Let me just put on my shoes." Anything but Colin's jersey would suffice is what I told myself when I was deciding what to wear.

"You look pretty mommy."

"Thank you baby."

"Maybe daddy will fall in love with you all over again, and you can be together."

"Okay my babies...Let's get goin."

"Finnnnally!!!!" She can be so dramatic. Just as dramatic as her damn dad.

We get to the stadium and meet up with Jaid because she's dying to see Leah.

"Wow, what finally got you to come to a game?" Jaid asks.

"That little nugget right there. She wouldn't leave me alone, and I finally caved."

"Well I'm glad you're here."

"We're sitting in suite today...care to join us."

"Since when do you do suites?"

"Since I don't wanna be seen by anyone, so I told Colin put us in one." I say shrugging my shoulders.

"Well, yeah. We'll join you."

"Before we go sit down, can we go to the field to see daddy?"

"Yeah, mommy, can we." Leag looks at Jaid with cute puppy dog eyes. How can we say no to them. We make our way to the field and stand on the sidelines till both Colin and Eric see us.

I keep my distance the entire time. He's still in his feelings over when I denied him a couple weeks ago, and I really don't care. I'm sure he's getting some from the bird he's with. I've never really cared for her when she was around because of Aldon, or her foolishness on that stupid ass show.

I caught Riley watching it a while back and had to put an end to it quick. The shit they talk about is not appropriate for 7 year old girls and her...lord, don't even get me started. I took it upon myself to do some research on her...she's a lot older than I expected. A lot older than the way she acts on Instagram and Twitter...but I'm just gonna be quiet about it, Colin's fans do my dirty work. If I was really petty, I'd retweet their tweets, but I try to take the high road.

After watching the guys warm up from the sidelines, we head up to the suite. As usual, the game goes terribly. It's lilt her offense is stuck on pause and can't score anything but field goals. During half time, I stumble across a picture on baller alert and it's of Nessa. I guess someone spotted her and took a picture. Damn they be on that shit quick. I think to myself.

"So tell me why ole girl is here..."

"Who?" I reach over the kids to show Jaid my phone.

"Aw, poor baby out here in the sun bakin. He ain't shit for that." She says, and we both burst into laughter.

"You're petty." She shrugs her shoulders. "She looks so lonely."
