Forty-Six

{Aaliyah's POV}

The days are slowly dwindling. I'm ready to get this boy out of me. He moves around, and kicks like crazy. Im just like chill out. Colin enjoys it. He loves feeling him kick, so does Riley. They've been the cutest throughout this whole thing. They read to the baby almost every night. He will definitely know both of their voices the minute he's out the wound.

I've been trying not to move around so much, and just take it easy since I'm almost at the end. I literally have a couple of weeks left till he's suppose to come. I want him out now, and I want to sneak out the house and go walk and try and make myself go into labor but Colin's not having it. So I spend most of my days on the couch now. I also stopped driving, which I hate because Riley has to ride the bus sometimes.

Like today. Colin's about to leave to San Diego for the first game against the San Diego chargers. I'm excited for him. New year, new season and a chance to show people why he's worth all this money...and I've grown to love watching him and the boys play.

I hear Colin coming down the stairs and he walks in the living room. "All packed and ready?"

"Yeah. Wish you could come with me."

"I wish Riley and I could too."

"Take it easy this weekend, okay. I don't want anything happening while I'm gone."

"Don't worry, I will."

"And let Riley take the bus home. The most you do is walk out there to the bus stop."

"Colin........I know. Just come back home with the win."

"I will...don't worry.."

I wrap my arms around his neck. "I love you Colin Rand."

"I love you more." He leans in for a kiss and I meet him half way.

"Good luck baby."

"Thank you....and I'll see you later Lil man." He says to my belly. "Tell Riley that I'll FaceTime her tonight."

"Will do."

He grabs his bag and I walk him to the door.

"Love you." He says.

"Love you too." I stand in the doorway and watch him pull out of the driveway and drive away.

It's Saturday afternoon and Riley and I are very bored. We're sitting on the couch watching cartoons, cuddled up together, along with the dog.

I send a mass text to the girls asking if they wanted to do lunch and they all agree. Jaid comes to pick me and Riley up from the house and we go to the restaurant.

"Im surprised you're put of the house." She says.

"Yeah, well Colin's always like take it easy...I don't want anything going wrong...blah blah blah."

"Awww that's cute. Well at least he cares."

"Yeah, I guess so."

"I take it he doesn't know that you're out right now?"

"Nope, and we're gonna keep it that way. Nothing's gonna go wrong."

We get to the restaurant and half way through, I start getting really bad cramps.

"Aaliyah, you okay?"

"I don't think so..." I place my hand on the bottom half of my stomach. "Maybe it's just gas" I say.

"Gas?? You're in labor."

"Oh my god, she's in labor. We gotta get her to the hospital."

"Okay, lets not panic." I say calmly.
