{Colin's POV}
On the way home from training camp, I pick up dinner from the grocery store; rotisserie chicken and some sides. It's been a couple weeks since training camp began and I've been working my ass off.
The first preseason game is this Sunday. I haven't gotten word of I'm starting or not. I don't even care, honestly. I just want to get in the game and make some plays showing that I'm ready the regular season and show that I can get us back on track and back to winning Superbowls.
I make it to the house, grab the grocery bags and head inside. I'm getting in kind of late tonight. Just with the game coming up, I want to be ready for it, so I stayed later than normal and put in a couple extra hours in the film room.
"Daddy's home!" I hear as I walk through the door. "Hey daddy."
"Hey bear." I bend down to give her a kiss on the cheek.
"Yay, you brought food."
"I did!" I say following her into the kitchen. "Where's mama?"
"Mama's right here." Aaliyah says walking into the kitchen with Nate right beside her.
"Hi papa."
"Hey bubba." I pick him up. "You miss me? Huh?"
"Yesss." He says with a smile. "I wan ticken papa." He says pointing to the chicken on the counter.
"Let's get you and sissy a plate made." Before going to the cabinet to grab plates, I give Aaliyah a kiss. "How was your day?"
"It was good."
"What'd y'all do?" I ask while getting plates for everyone.
"We went and got school supplies for Riley...picked up stuff for the baby.."
"Speaking of baby, I will get to his crib this week. I haven't forgotten."
"Take your time baby. I know your busy with the season starting. We have about a month and a half till October."
"Yeah, but the sooner the better because once the season starts, you know how my schedule can get."
"That is true." She says picking at the chicken.
"Ew, is yo hands clean."
"Yes, they are. Before coming in the kitchen, I was giving him a bath."
"He got on underwear?"
"...no."
"It's about that time to get you outta them pull-ups. I been sayin this."
"Tell papa you're workin on it."
"Not working hard enough."
"Well, he's been making progress. He tells me when he has to use the bathroom...it just be some seconds too late and he ends up peeing on himself. And he has a problem getting up in the middle of the night, or holding it all the way through. He's getting there."
"He'll be 3 next month. He needs to be fully potty trained by then."
"Anything else, sir?"
"Don't be funny Aaliyah."
"I'm just sayin."
"And I'm just sayin."
"Mommy, isn't your birthday coming up too." Riley asks.
"Yeah, October 2nd. A little over a month away."
"Daddy, are you gonna get her anything?"
"I gave her a baby...3 babies actually." I joke.
