{Aaliyah's POV}

I make it to the penthouse and knock. One of his boys opens the door. "Hey Aaliyah."

"Hey...she didn't give you fellas any trouble did she."

"Nah. She did beat me in a race at workouts yesterday."

"That's cause yo ass is slow." Colin says coming around the corner holding Riley's hand.

"MOMMYYYYYY!!!"

"Hey baby." I pick her up as she runs to me.

"I missed you so much."

"I missed you too."

"Did you have fun with daddy?" She looks back at him, then nods.

"You ready to go?"

"Not really."

"I'm not ready for you to go either little bear." He picks her up and we walk outside.

"You're still gonna call me everyday right?" Riley asks.

"Of course. Nothing's changed. Imma still make sure we talk every single day." He puts her in the car and gives her a kiss.

"Hold up." He says before I get in the car. "I missed you."

I can't do nothing but roll my eyes. "Okay."

"Don't be like that."

"I'm not being like anything."

"Yes you are."

"What do you want Colin?"

"To see how you are. What you been up to the last couple days?"

"Same thing I've been doing."

"You still mad at me?" My phone vibrates and it's Quinton. "Who's that?"

"Nobody you should be worried about."

"So you got a new nigga?"

"Why are you automatically assuming its a dude. I do have friends."

"Yeah. Whatever. Just don't have that nigga around my daughter."

I roll my eyes. "Are we done here?"

"Yeah, we done." I get in the car and he waves to Riley.

******************

"Where are you going mommy?" Riley asks jumping on the bed. It's been a couple weeks since we last saw Colin. I'm about to drop Riley off at Melanie's while Quinton and I go on a date. I haven't been able to see him a lot because, as Colin "demanded" I'm not gonna bring him around Riley just yet. We've only been talking/dating for a few weeks, and he definitely makes me a happy girl. I haven't felt this way in a long time actually.

"I am going to hang out with one of my friends."

"Why can't I come?"

"Mayyybe next time."

"No fair." She says and pouts.

"Rileyyyy."

"No mommy."

"Come on. Lets get you dropped off and Aunti Mel's." I say picking her up. I grab my purse and keys and we leave. On the way to the car, I can feel a tear drop on my shirt. By the time we get to Mel's she's fast asleep.

"Thanks for watching her."

"Now you know it's no problem boo. Go have a good time."

"I'll be back to get her tonight."
