Figured I'd post a pic of what I pictured Riley to be like...

{Colin's POV}

"Before we drive off, lets take a picture." I pull out my phone, go to the camera, hold it up and she smiles. I post it to Instagram before we leave.

"Daaaaadddyy..lets go."

"Hold up Ry."

"What are you doing?"

"Putting our picture on Instagram so my fans can see it."

"What's Instagram?"

"A social media app that you can share pictures with people."

"Can I get one? I love taking pictures."

"You're too young right now, but maybe when you get older. For now, you're gonna blow up my Instagram. Okay?"

"K."

I quickly post it.

"So glad to have my little bear back in the bay. Gonna make the most of it while she's here. So get ready, cause we gone blow up y'all Instagram for the next week!"

"Alright, we can go now." I say pulling out of the hotel.

We finally get to my hometown and go to my parents house. She's the first to hop out the car. My mom opens the door before she even makes it to the door.

"Grandmaaaa!!!" She yells as she runs up to the door.

"There's my favorite granddaughter."

"She's your only granddaughter mom."

"Which is why she's my favorite." She says then gives Riley a kiss on the cheek.

"Where grandpa?"

"In his office. Why don't you go let him know you're here." She runs inside and I give my mom a hug.

"Seems like she's getting taller."

"You think so?" I ask as I walk in. I go to the kitchen to grab a bottle of water.

"A little.......how's Aaliyah?"

"She's good, I guess. She seems to be doing fine for herself." I sit on the bar stool at the island in the middle of the kitchen.

"I still don't know how you let her go son. Twice."

"Mom, don't start. Please."

"I'm just saying Colin. She's the mother of your child and she's a good girl. I was sure that it would work out this time."

"Yeah well, things change and some times things don't work out. That's how it is."

"Something tells me that deep down, you really don't believe that."

Our conversation is interrupted by laughter and it's my dad and Riley walking in kitchen. He sits her by me, on the island.

Daddy, can I have some?" She asks me and I hand her my water bottle.

"Ready for training camp?" My dad asks.

"More ready than ever. Now that that whole, you know what situation has finally blown over, I'm in a better state of mind."

"That's good. I'm glad everything is falling back into place."

"Almost. There's still a piece of the puzzle that's missing, but that's really out of my hands." I say glancing at Riley.

"Where's uncle Kyle and Simba?" Riley asks with her hands on her hips and tons of sass.

"They should be here soon....but while we wait...we can go see what Sammy's up to..."
