{Aaliyah's POV}

I pull up to the house and I take a moment to gather myself before going in. I take Nate, who's sleeping, out of his seat and we walk up to the door. I knock, the door swings open and steps aside so I can walk in.

"How long has he been sleep?"

"Not long..." He takes him out of my arms. "Please don't wake him up...he was in a cranky mood before crying himself to sleep in the car." Of course he doesn't listen.

"Wake up bubba." He says in his ear.

"Colin..." He rolls his eyes and continues to try and wake him up. Nate's not trynna hear it though. He turns his head into Colin's neck and stays that way. "I told you."

"Whateva..."

"Where's Riley?"

"Dining room table doing homework." He walks off but I pull him back.

"I'm only gonna say this once okay? Do not take my daughter from school unless there's a reason. Don't pull that shit again."

"Ion know who you think you talkin to that way, but I'm not gonna tolerate that shit. You can stay while I have some visitation hours with my kids, but I'm not gonna let you with an attitude. Yo ass can bounce for all I care."

"You are really a piece of shit, you know that?"

"When I come back from putting my son in his bed, your ass better be gone man. I'm not bout to deal with this shit. Not in my home." He walks off and I stand in the same spot by the door. "You still here? Didn't I tell your ass to kick rocks."

"I'm tired of you treating me like I'm the reason we're not together. You stepped out on me, remember?"

"I tried to apologize to you, you ain't wanna here it. What am I suppose to do, get on my hands and knees and beg you to take me back."

"You know what..." I say putting my hand up. "I will be back later to pick them up."

"Don't bother. I'll take Riley to school tomorrow and since you don't wanna tell me where you stayin, come by the facility before picking up Riley from school." I don't even put up a fight, I just a agree to it.

"Okay, whatever. Let me talk to Riley and I'm gone."

I walk to the dining room to see my baby hard at work. She looks up and smiles when hears me walk in.

"Hey mommy."

"Hey baby, what are you working on?"

"Writing in cursive. See."

She shows me her workbook that she's doing the exercises in.

"Looks good."

"Are we about to leave?"

"Well I am. Daddy wants you to stay with him tonight."

"You can't stay with us?" She whines.

"Riley...remember we talked about this baby."

"I know. Can you at least stay for a little bit."

"This is time for you, Nate and daddy to hang out." She nods. "I love you."

She sighs. "I love you too."

"Can I have a kiss?" I say then giving her a sad face. She nods. She gives me a peck on the lips. "Be good."

"I will."

I make my way towards the door and I feel Colin's presence behind me. "I'll be at the facility tomorrow to pick bubba up."

"Alright."

He shuts the door behind me and I hop in the car and leave.

It's time to move on.
